I received a phone call from Jerry, our service advisor, after I submitted my initial feedback on the service. Jerry was very apologetic on behalf of the dealership about our poor service experience. We feel bad about leaving a negative survey, but we were being honest about our experience. Our bill was over $5,800 and I paid over $1,300, while the warranty company paid the majority. Among all the work that was done, I had broken glass that needed to be replaced and I explained to Jerry that USAA would replace the broken window with generic glass at no charge to me under the auto policy. I took the truck to the dealership because I wanted OEM glass, but a generic glass was installed and I was charged $350 plus tax for it. There were other issues such as dirty/greasy interior (paid $29.95 for a car wash and interior cleaning), vehicle pulsating violently when stopping (paid $246.45 for rear brakes), sunroof sticking/not opening (was worked on), etc. I was expecting the dealership to reimburse the charges since I received generic glass instead of OEM glass, but that wasn’t offered as an option. Nice apology and good customer service from the Service Advisor, but poor service from the dealership and poor resolution of my concerns. My advice, check the vehicle as soon as its returned and before paying for the service, if they let you, to make sure you get what you agreed with the service advisor prior to paying for the work. More
