Although this was a cash deal, they "Hard Pull" on my credit, which has a negative impact on my credit (I was told it was a "Soft Pull"). I also paid $2400.00 for their extended warranty, and I will lik credit, which has a negative impact on my credit (I was told it was a "Soft Pull"). Also, no customer follow-up, even though I tried calling my salesman after I picked up the Ford F150 truck. I am not happy with my experience at Shottenkirk Ford and will not recommend them to my neighbors or friends. Honestly, I am never this critical about a car buying experience, and I strongly believe in being fair when it's justified. Please don't assume I am verbally bashing this Dealership; I just like the way I was treated. I buy a lot of cars and I will not go back to Shottenkirk. More

The Service Dept. deserves the commission for sales to my husband and I because they are the only reason I purchased another car from Shottenkirk. My garage fire destroyed the new Escape 2020 I had bought from Shottenkirk so I went up there because the same year and model, Hybrid was available. I wanted the car and was in bit of an imposition but I argued the car needed new tires - this was in February - Mr. Effron told me the tires had 20,000 miles left on them. Now it is July and 5,000 miles later they had to be replaced - upon the advice of Shottenkirk when I came in for my free oil change. I was not told the spare key was not available until I was getting in my car. Then was told I would be sold the spare key for a discount. I paid $400.00 - no discount. I've emailed the General Mgr and 2 Sales Managers - nothing. I've purchased new and used from Shottenkirk over the years - but now I'm debating on switching. The only thing that makes me pause is I love the service department. The whole experience caused us to purchase our truck from another dealer and I am going to advise my friend who is in the market for a brand new diesel double tandem truck that she may want to rethink it.
