Good bye, Toyota! I have been with Toyota for the last seven years, (with Toyota Scion for five), and it used to be a great experience. This time, I was unpleasantly su I have been with Toyota for the last seven years, (with Toyota Scion for five), and it used to be a great experience. This time, I was unpleasantly surprised with the quality of the customer service. I came on Friday after work on my scheduled time, and was standing for at least ten minutes before the gates only to get there. There was only one car in front of me in my lane, and a service person was talking with a customer, the owner of that car. I was waiting patiently, then they left, then came to the car again. All that period of time, both a service guy and the owner of the car, saw me waiting, but nobody moved the car, so I could at least drive into the garage. I did not interrupt them, but then I saw them leaving again, I guess, to do a paperwork, so I opened a window and asked them very politely to move the car. The sales person looked at me and did nothing, while the car owner moved the car right away. I thanked him, he smiled in response. Then I was waiting for Lori, who was at the meeting, for another ten minutes. Lori came, we talked, and everything was fine, until that sales person gave me the whole speech calling me rude and disrespectful. He said I was supposed to stay at the gate waiting patiently( that I was actually doing for about ten minutes). He blamed me yelling at him! I was trying to explain that I just talked loudly because I am a teacher and they were not even close by. He responded that he would complain if his child has a teacher like I am. I thought it was too much, but still was trying to be nice to the guy, thinking that maybe it was not his day. I even said, " I am sorry if I hurt your feelings accidentally.'' The guy did not accept my apologies; moreover, he started lecturing me again for another five minutes in front of a bunch of people who were not aware of what is going on and were looking at me like I was a ten-year old misbehaving kid. It was so embarrassing. Finally, my car was absolutely mess inside. They have never vacuumed it ( usually they do), and did not even put a paper rug on the floor. Was it the act of retaliation? I am not sure, but I am absolutely sure that I am not going to this kind of service anymore. More
