FIVE HOURS' WAIT Time is a constant problem with Shore Toyota. I originally took my car to another dealer in Philadelphia, I normally work in Philadelphia. I made an appointment at Shore a couple of days ago because I am out of work due to a medical problem. When I made the appointment, I told Shore that Champion/Sloane Toyota said that I needed rear brakes and a replacement fender liner. I am aware you dealerships are connected electronically. I got to Shore and and my service person told me they had to look for themselves at Shore. Fine. Shore recommended replacement of the front brakes as well. I agreed. I arrived at 11:15 and left after five. I mean, I wasn't having an outpatient medical procedure. I was having my brakes fixed. I am not unsatisfied with the Ryan Goroy, who is on the service team and handled the paperwork side and whose exact title I do not know. I am not unsatisfied with the price I paid. I am not and have never been unsatisfied with the work actually done. The reason I avoid Shore Toyota is because of excessive period of time it takes to get my car serviced. I cannot leave the car because I drive 135 miles round trip daily for work. The last time I went to Shore it took two hours to get an oil change!!!! Also,the facility is excessively noisy. The television is blaring and so is the music coming from the show room. Put up some walls, people!! It was REALLY UNPLEASANT to be there for five plus hours. And even if it were less unpleasant to sit and wait, the amount of hours it took to get my car serviced it unacceptable. If I schedule an appointment for my fender liner to be put on my car, it should not take much over an hour. I suspect you do not employ enough mechanics, or you overbook your service appointments. That is not my business, but if I am going to buy another car (and I intend to within the next year), it would be smart of you higher-ups to take note. I don't want to buy a car from a place that won't service it in a timely manner. Many other people have complained to me about the same thing about Shore Toyota, and bought cars elsewhere because of this problem. Terry Blynn More
