Slow service and expensive but they get the job done I have been going to Shore Toyota for several years now. They are very competent and get the job done but the wait times are always very long for serv I have been going to Shore Toyota for several years now. They are very competent and get the job done but the wait times are always very long for service. If you get free oil changes and service with a new car, expect to wait several hours, even with an appointment. Any other work, you must leave your car for the day or you will wait a minimum of 3 hours. I recently took my car in knowing it was an emissions leak. Took over a week to get an appointment and I had the diagnostic done elsewhere. It cost me $114 and all it needed was a replacement gas cap and ended up having an entire day without a car. Debating if I want to purchase another Toyota, even though I love my car. More

Hard to make an appointment for scheduled maintenance. I was approaching my 15,000 mile checkup, when I called shore Toyota to schedule an appointment. I called on a Monday, with hopes of scheduling an app I was approaching my 15,000 mile checkup, when I called shore Toyota to schedule an appointment. I called on a Monday, with hopes of scheduling an appointment any time on Friday. I wanted to stay at the dealership while the service was done. They said they had no waiting appointments until Saturday afternoon. I said I had to work on Saturday and couldn't drop my truck off then. I was told I could drop it off on Thursday, and they would get to it when they could. Drop offs are not convenient for me. I live in Cape May county, about 20 miles away. In the summer I work 6 am until 4:30 pm. The only way for me to drop off a vehicle, would be to leave it there the night before. I would then need to take my wife's car for the day, leave work early to get her, and retrieve my truck. Through the help of Toyota USA, I was able to speak with the Service manager, and schedule an appointment for Friday. On that Friday, the service was performed. The service associate said they have problems in the summer, because the mechanics like to take vacations then. I understand his dilemma, but it's also not the customer's fault he is approaching a mandatory scheduled maintenance when the mechanics are on vacation. If they gave me the oil and filter, I would be more than happy to do the maintenance myself. More
