I went to Rosner Toyota of Stafford, on the 18th of May, 2013, to look at a car for my, newly licensed driver, son. The "Hot Lava" 2013 Toyota Corolla instantly caught my eye. I walked over to it to check 2013, to look at a car for my, newly licensed driver, son. The "Hot Lava" 2013 Toyota Corolla instantly caught my eye. I walked over to it to check it out, it was not my intention to buy this car for my son it just caught my eye. While I was looking at the car I was greeted by Mr. Mirek Szwarc, a Sales and Leasing Consultant of the dealership. I had given Mr. Szwarc a brief run down of my situation: My son just got his license, I had purchased a 5-speed manual transmission vehicle for him when he got his Learner's Permit and I was not confident enough in his abilities to operate the vehicle safely on his own. My other vehicle was a 5.7 Liter Dodge Magnum RT, and I was not going to have him drive around in that. I informed him that I did not wish to trade in either vehicle, as I still wanted my son to be proficient at operating a manual transmission, and I was still making payments on the Magnum. He asked me if I wanted new or used. I told him that I did not really know and I wanted to weigh the options. Mr. Szwarc took me through the used cars first, he was very patient with me, as I asked a lot of questions. I did not see anything that I liked in the used car area, I asked him about the new cars, I gave him my requirements, doors, 4 wheels, not pink, red, or black, not 8 cylinders, not a truck, van, or SUV, and under 20,000. I walked over to the Yaris, he began telling me about them, I opened the passenger door, looked inside and then said "No, too small.", we looked at the Corollas next, Mr. Szwarc explained to me the differences between the package options and then we began to go through the Camrys. It was at this time that my wife had arrived after completing here errands. I had asked Mr. Szwarc to give me a few moments to run my wife through what we had already gone through. My wife and I spent about another half hour looking through the used cars and began to walk over to the Corollas. I waved to Mr. Szwarc and he came over to us and I asked him if we could test drive on of the Corollas, I handed him my Driver's License and he came back with the key to one of the "S" models. We drove about a mile away and then turned around to the dealership, I had seen enough of the Corolla. Upon our return I had thanked Mr. Szwarc for his assistance and my wife and I looked around some more, and discussed several of the options. I went back to Mr. Szwarc and told him that I wanted the dark gray one that we test drove, the Toyota name for the color is "Magnet Gray". We spent two hours looking at cars and it only took a little more than a half hour for Mr. Szwarc to run through the paperwork, the financing qualification, and through the financing consultant, Jesse Konstantly. Mr. Konstantly, was also very courteous, knowledgeable and helpful. When I was finished, I had no reservations about the purchase of my new Corolla, and my son loves driving it. On Monday, I added the new car to my insurance policy. Without the new car added to the policy my insurance had gone up from $647 with a $0.00 deductible to over $1600 with a $500 deductible, because we added our 16 year old son to the policy, adding the new car brought the policy up to just over $1800 with a $500 deductible. I know had 4 cars on the policy total coverage with a $500 deductible... that is $450 dollars per vehicle... right? Wrong! Remember, I stated that I had a 5.7 Liter Dodge Magnum... $875 with a $500 deductible to insure the car with my son on the policy. That is more for 1 car than it was for 3 cars with a $0.00 deductible before he was on our policy. This really bothered me... I spent the next three days looking at how I could pay off the Magnum to get liability on it, I did not want to get rid of the car and I did not want to pay this much for insurance on a car that I was not going to allow him to drive. I really liked the Magnum, I got into arguments with my wife over the Magnum, she hated the Magnum... looked like a hearse to her. At work on that Wednesday I had decided that I was going to trade in the Magnum and the 1997 Mitsubishi Mirage for the "Hot Lava" Corolla that caught my eye on the first day. For whatever reason traffic was a bear that evening, I finally made it home, I told my son that this was the only chance that he was going to get to drive the Magnum, I got in the Mirage and my son and I headed to Rosner. We arrived at 8:30 PM, I was still in my work clothes and I did not smell none too fresh. We were greeted by a new sales associate with Rosner, Ken Luciani. I had asked for Mr. Szwarc, I was informed that he had gone home for the evening, and was asked if there was anything he could do for me. I told Mr. Luciani that I had just financed a new Corolla through them last Saturday, Mr. Szwarc was who had helped me, and I had come back to trade in my two cars for the Orange Corolla right in the front of the store. Mr. Luciani brought me over to Steve Larabee and explained to him that I was a customer of Mirek's and that I wanted to purchase another vehicle. The two gentlemen were a little apprehensive about taking a sale from another employee, but they assisted me in my purchase of the vehicle. I looked up my car on Kelly Blue Book prior to trading it in, and what they offered me for my vehicle was more than I had expected, they also gave me a little off of the quoted price of the new since I had purchased two vehicles within a week from Rosner. The financing of the second vehicle took a little longer than the first, my bank was being difficult with giving up the "Buy Out" price for my loan on the Magnum, and there turned out to be security bolts on my license plate holders, that I do not remember having put on. I had the same Financing Consultant as my previous purchase, Jesse Konstanty. He was just as courteous as he was on Saturday. This was the first time that my son had been in a dealership, the staff was very courteous to him as well, and answered all of his questions as numerous as they were. I am very happy with both Corollas, and my insurance is back down to an acceptable level with a $250 deductible. The staff at Rosner is great and I will definitely recommend to anyone who is looking for a car to buy from them. More

I bought a new truck from this dealership. With less then 10 miles on it. Recently was invovled in a accidentwith the truck. And there was repairs to the truck before i even bought it. Then they have no reco 10 miles on it. Recently was invovled in a accidentwith the truck. And there was repairs to the truck before i even bought it. Then they have no records of the ca ever being repaired. Buyers beware when buying from ron rosner they sell you repaired vehicles before you even buy them. Best part is when you ask clay the owner of ron rosner to call you he passes the buck onto his gm who is clueless too. This whole dealership is a joke up from the salesman to the owner. Good luck! I test drove a 2005 4runner Limited on a Saturday. It felt solid and drove straight. I loved the color combination. However, it smelled like someone had smoked in it for years with no ventilation. The felt solid and drove straight. I loved the color combination. However, it smelled like someone had smoked in it for years with no ventilation. The paint was a little dull. The salesman assured me that the car would be detailed, including an "ionization" that would remove the smell and a thorough waxing. Also, the seatbelts were to be cleaned; they were visibly dirtier than the rest of the car. I told him I would be back Wednesday with a check. When I came back Wednesday, the car no longer smelled of smoke. It did have a very strong "chemical" smell. The salesman told me the smell was from the cleaning process and would disipate shortly. I trusted what he said and that it had been "detailed". By the time I got home (about 90 minutes) I was sick from the chemical fumes. It was raining heavily, so I could not really see the outside of the car. But I could see that the top half of the car was not beading water. The next day, after it stopped raining, I took it by a local car detailing shop to ask about the smell. The owner of the detailing shop pointed out that the dash, seats, and carpet had been dyed. He said the only reason one would dye these parts would be because they could not be cleaned to the point of their original color. I asked him if the car had been waxed. He did a thorough inspection and showed me that the paint on the top side of the car was so faded that there wasn't enough paint to wax. After that, I took the car to CarMax for an appraisal. It was more than $3000 LESS than what I paid for it. They also pointed out areas of re-painting that I had not noticed. I called the dealership the next day (Friday) and spoke with someone that was supposed to be the sales manager. In reality, I have no idea what his position is within the company. He stated that they would not cancel the deal under any circumstances nor take the car back. After some prompting, he finally told me of the company's three day exchange policy. I told him I would be there the next day to utilize this policy. I arrived Saturday to "exchange" the vehicle I bought for one that was worth what I paid for. After four unproductive exchanges with three different employees, I met with Micky Ortiz. He IS the sales manager, but not the same person I spoke with the day before. After some discussion, he finally agreed to supply me with another vehicle. He said he would call me within the week. I never received any call from him or anyone else in the dealership. On Friday, almost a week after these discussions, I called and asked for Micky Ortiz. I was told he was with a customer and would call me back. Over two hours later I called again. I was told he was talking with someone and would call me back. The receptionist said he would be working until 9:00 PM. Again, I never received a return call. In summary, the vehicle I bought from Stafford Toyota had extreme, irrepairable wear for the mileage displayed and the price paid. There is also a discrepancy of 2000 miles between the actual odometer and the odometer disclosure statement. Also, the color listed is not the actual color of the car. The VINs do match the paperwork. I believe that something serious has happened to this car that has not been disclosed and was hidden by this dealership. After this week's dealings with them, I do not trust them at all. They are not good on their word nor their handshake. I will be following up with DMV, the BBB, Consumer Affairs, and the Auto Dealer's Association. If this is not remedied, I will have no choice but to follow up in Civil Court. By the way.... the Car Fax was clean but it only covers issues reported to DMV or voluntarily by the seller. More
