I bought a 2015 4Runner from Jimmy Rhody, and it was the smoothest, most enjoyable car-buying experience I've ever had. First, Jimmy met my son and me on the lot while we were looking at the 4Runners, and immediately began helping us understand the differences between the models, etc., and had answers for all our questions. He then accompanied us on a test drive and we talked more about the vehicle. One thing that stood out to me was when Jimmy asked me at the end of the test drive if there was anything he could help with that would allow me to make a decision to buy that day. When I answered, no, and explained that I was in research mode, he did not try to pressure me in any way, and simply said he understood, and to take my time. This is the first time that has ever happened to me in a car dealership, and I appreciated it immensely! The rest of my experience with Jimmy continued in this manner. He was proactive and engaged, yet never pressuring. Next, I had to be away for my work, and I did not have reliable phone voice service during the following week. So, for the next several days, Jimmy was amenable to my request to discuss a vehicle purchase via text messaging. I'd like to note that Jimmy did much of this on his own time, on his days off, many times late at night, his time. I really appreciated this, as well. By Saturday, after much work by Jimmy, and the staff at Rosner Fredericksburg, I was ready to buy the 4Runner, and did so that afternoon. Once I arrived at the dealership, Jimmy had done all the paperwork he could do without me there, and had my paperwork ready for me upon arrival. I drove the vehicle I planned to purchase, and soon thereafter, I was in John's office signing the documents. A few minutes later, my new 4Runner was spotlessly cleaned and ready for my walk-around with Jimmy. We went through all the features, and set up Entune, and then, with an appreciative handshake, my son and I drove off the lot in our new vehicle! I want to say that, all along the way the entire staff I interacted with were extremely professional, and it was obvious to me that they went out of their way to make my experience the best possible. They succeeded. The personal, professional, and dedicated way in which Jimmy, and Rosner handled everything was truly impressive. And it was not only me they made feel at home, Jimmy, and the rest of the crew went out of their way to make my 12 year old son feel special, as well. Jimmy involved him in the conversations about the vehicle, and made him feel a part of it all. This really resonated with my son, and with me. Kent Smith, and Jim Foskey also helped a great deal in getting me the pricing and terms I wanted. Their participation was instrumental, and I thank them for going the extra mile. The Rosner Rewards Program was a HUGE selling point for me. Free lifetime oil and filter changes, and state inspections are really rare features these days. Also, the facilities are VERY nice! The remodeled building has an excellent showroom, and a service customer lounge that is reminiscent of a 5-star hotel! Bottom line: I will be back to Rosner, and Jimmy for our next purchase, and beyond, and I will refer my family and friends. Rosner has a life-long customer in me. Girma helped us purchase a used vehicle for our college sons, and even helped ius measure the car to be sure it would accommodate my son's double-bass.
