Rags to Riches It was May 6th on a rainy Saturday when my dad and I had been searching for hours for a new car. My 2006 Chevy cobalt wasn't doing me justice anymo It was May 6th on a rainy Saturday when my dad and I had been searching for hours for a new car. My 2006 Chevy cobalt wasn't doing me justice anymore, it had to have repairs at least twice a month and that was hurting my wallet. As a 25 year old female I really needed something that was going to suit my needs. Safety, ability to play music from my phone on the radio, and electric locks and windows. The 06 cobalt was my first car, so I was definitely tired of making payments on something that was cramping my style. I first went to the Radley Chevy dealership next to Toyota and was looking for a Cruz but it was a little out of my price range. Then I decided to try out Sheehy Toyota next door and I am SO glad I did. Immediately when me and my father walked up to the dealership we were greeted by two friendly males Jimmy Rhody and Sharky. Sharky was new and just transferred over from Chevrolet which was perfect because with his knowledge of the Cruze he helped me to compare the pros and cons between the Cruze and the Corolla. Once inside I told Jimmy I was looking for a 2017 Toyota Corolla but didn't know which model. He first gave me a very detailed tour of the base model Corolla. We sat inside the car and he showed me all the features. Then he took me outside and showed me all the different colors and models they had in stock. He kindly explained what each model had to offer and the differences between the S, or SE. He made it simple for me to understand and I knew the SE was for me once I saw the blue seats. Soon enough I was test driving the Aqua Mica SE and Sharky and Jimmy made me feel so comfortable. He explained how Toyota cars last much longer and explained all of the safety features. This really sold me. After the test drive Jimmy sat with me and configured some numbers and talked to finance and really worked with me to get the beast deal for me. I ended up leasing the car and was told I could always purchase the car at the end of the lease. Before I knew it I was shaking hands with Sharky and Jimmy and signing contracts. I had did it. This was my first big girl, adult decision. I was so happy and practically crying. Jimmy gave me a tour of the facility and introduced me to the service department which was very helpful. Once paper work was done, Jimmy and Sharky sat with me in my new car and showed me all of the features, , how to make phone calls and text using voice from the steering wheel, how to understand the dashboard, how to adjust settings, where to look in my owners manual for quick questions. THIS was so helpful for me because I didn't just drive off with a new car not knowing how to use it considering the 06 cobalt didn't having anything close to these fancy features. The other thing that sold me about this decision was that I get free maintenance for the first 2 years and I did not have to return to Sheehy Toyota, but to any Toyota. When I had the Chevy it was only allowed to be serviced at THAT specific dealership in Fredericksburg, which was a hassle for me because I live in Charlottesvile. So being able to take the new car to any Toyota service department really helps. This whole experience could not have gone any easier thanks to Jimmy and Sharky. I drove back to Charlottesville feeling confident and safe in my new 2017 Toyota Corolla SE. A HUGE THANK YOU TO EVERYONE!!! More

Issue Resolved The oil coolant hose on our 2007 Toyota Sienna ruptured. When we discovered that this part was covered under an extended warranty, the service manage The oil coolant hose on our 2007 Toyota Sienna ruptured. When we discovered that this part was covered under an extended warranty, the service manager at Sheehan Toyota refused to honor the warranty. After contacting the BBB and posting a complaint on this site, Sheehy contacted us to let us know that the service manager was no longer employed by Sheehy and that they would issue a refund for the repair. We appreciate Sheehy's efforts to resolve the issue and hope that the service will be better under a new manager. More
