Where to begin? ? We all know how stressful and often taxing it can be to purchase a vehicle— especially as a woman. My partner and I had been on the look out for a r ? My partner and I had been on the look out for a rare car, one sold out everywhere and with high demand. We saw a listing of the vehicle on a Friday night before going to bed. I wrote an email to inquire if it was still available and woke up received to a response by Saturday morning, 9am (the dealer’s opening hour). By 10:30-11am we were at the dealer driving the car. There was a line of customers interested in the same car. And the dealer was BUSY. I’ve never seen a dealership with so much live and buzz. Immediately we were greeted by a warm hello and a firm handshake by the agent who answered our email and calls, Armik Megerditchian—oh, and a cut out of Mathew McConaughey— get it, because they sell Lincoln’ s? Anyway, what I haven’t mentioned is that the entire time we had our eyes set on this same vehicle at another location who was asking 5,000 over for the same model but it’s lowest trim, no features, no warranty, and used. When we saw this listing we immediately recognized how fair Sheehy’s pricing was. We understood that Sheehy Gaithersburg was smart enough to put their best price forward in an extremely competitive market, making a name for themselves built on trust and fairness. If you’re trying to get yourself a 2022 Ford Maverick, this is the dealership you should want to trust. I did my research well in advance before getting to the dealer. Oh boy did I research. I knew every feature of every trim of every color of this car. I knew the market and how absurdly expensive everything is and the competing cars models and makes. This was an amazing deal. I received an offer I couldn’ t have walked away from—even if I didn’t want the car. Luckily, of course, I did want it and I did take it. A few wonderful cups of coffee later (and I’m Puerto Rican—I know good coffee), a burger (4th of July weekend), a Diet Coke, PLENTY of jokes and a few signatures later, I was the envy of the lot, waking away with my dream car and a ridiculously good offer. My partner and I were turning heads by the end of the negotiation with Armik’s wonderful support. A few other people who made this dream possible: Dave in finance, who made sure every number and every word on this deal was accurate. Treated us like family and ensured we walked out confidently knowing that we just scored an amazing opportunity. We felt so safe, so listened to, so respected and so supported. Lastly, Gus, who helped with the occasional translation to Spanish and most importantly, a quick and uplifting sense of humor. Couldn’t be happier with our purchase and experience.
