I was searching for a Transit Connect and went to see Fitz at Sheehy Ford of Gaithersburg who i had purchased several cars from in the passed. I was saddened to hear Fitz had retired. I recently purchased a new 2013 Ford Explorer Ltd from Sheehy Ford. My decision to purchase a new vehicle was somewhat unexpected as my 2002 Explorer suddenly developed a major transmission problem (afte Sheehy Ford. I submitted a solicitation to all of the local Ford dealerships for the vehicle I was looking for and of course received emails from at least 10 different dealers' internet sales people. I indicated that I would only communicate via email and after doing a lot of research (in a short amount of time), I knew pretty much exactly what I wanted and the price that I was looking to pay. I arranged a test drive with Corey Ray, who I found to be very straightforward, and not pushy at all. Since Sheehy was the dealership closest to my home, I explained that I wanted to look at the vehicle and test drive it but that I'd only be purchasing there if the price was right. As I said, I spoke with and communicated with several other dealerships, but Corey worked with me to offer me the price I wanted and moved diligently to locate the exact truck with options that I wanted. Within about one week of starting my search, we came to an agreement and I purchased my new Explorer. Corey was careful to tell me the best times for both my test drive, and my final purchase/delivery, in order to have the least amount of waiting and hassle. I was pleasantly surprised to find that my ENTIRE purchase experience, from the couple of meetings with Corey, to the final purchase and sitting down with the financing folks was the best that I recall. Everyone I came in contact with through the sales process was very friendly, and knowledgeable, and most of all willing to take as much time as was needed to explain everything and answer my many questions. This was a very good buying experience and I felt strongly about commending Corey and the rest of the people that I met along the way. More

The only thing I wish I would have done is got a better deal on my new escape. The sale price was 19,890 something and even with a 5000 down payment my new total was still 19,280. Other than that I think the whole dealership did an excellent job handling everything I needed in buying a New used car. More

Michael Engelmann helped me with a new car sale. He was very educated on the brand in general and the specific vehicles that they offered, knowing all the differences in models and pointing out features th very educated on the brand in general and the specific vehicles that they offered, knowing all the differences in models and pointing out features that I may not have initially noticed but definitely would have been upset if I had missed and not been able to weigh their importance to me (for instance, the last new car I bought did not have bluetooth for my phone, but had I bought any other package it would have). He seemed to really be interested in the cars he was selling which made the process fun. He even pulled an iPod out of his pocket and went through all of the capabilities of the Sync system. He spent a lot of time with me to make sure I left with the car I really wanted (but didn't even know it before I arrived!). I'm very happy that I found Mike and assume that I'm not alone as while I was there, two repeat customers arrived. One just for service but greeted him and another returning for another car. If Mike is still around when I'm ready for my next vehicle (which right now doesn't seem like it will be anytime soon), I'll be looking for him again. More

Corey deserves the most stars you can give he is sweet and patient man. I ran him ragged with my sales request.
