When we arrived at Sheehy Ford Lincoln of Gaithersburg we met a very personable young man who seemed wise beyond his years. He clearly understands the significance and importance of friendliness, knowledge and experience in providing great customer service. Eric listened to us, heard what we said and then applied his experience, knowledge of his job, and his experience to guide us through a sale that delivered to us the very vehicle we wanted with all of the options we wanted. Eric took the time to understand our unique financial concerns and worked diligently to get us a deal that worked for us. It was impossible not to close the sale that same day and we are now enjoying the fantastic 2014 Expedition Ltd. we drove off the lot. Horrible Long story short: my wife and I purchase a brand new focus with the "Sheehy preferred customer plan" (oil change, tire rotation etc). The tires that came ON the car had a 50K mile warranty, they lasted 30K. The service person (at Sheehy) said their was no discernible reason they saw as to why the tires wore so quickly. When I asked about the warranty I was told by Sheehy's assistant service manager it was voided because Sheehy rotated the tires according to their "schedule" and not tire manufactures guidelines. The also stated it was my responsibility, not theirs, to ensure the tires were rotated in the manufactures required time frame. (The car was always brought in on time for every require maintenance according to the owner manual) After speaking to the GM he assured me they would resolve the issue and he would call me back in a day, 4 days later and no call. After many attempts to contact me I finally called him back one day just to get a feel of who he was and whether I would consider doing business with him. He was very pleasant and professional. After several weeks I finally showed up at his dealership to do business and I am glad I did. He and his team helped get the car I was looking for - Ford Fusion 2014 and I am loving it. I will definitely recommend Andre to anyone looking to buy a car. More
Excellent Car Buying Experience After my Toyota truck crossed the 110,000 mile mark, I figured it was time to start looking for a new vehicle. I was interested in a Subaru Outback o After my Toyota truck crossed the 110,000 mile mark, I figured it was time to start looking for a new vehicle. I was interested in a Subaru Outback or Forester, and talked to Kate Van Arnum to ask her to keep an eye out. Within a half hour, she had found two - both at other dealerships. This was on a Saturday and we weren't going to be able to get back to the dealership till Monday, so I kept my fingers crossed and the car did end up still being available. They offered me a great price for my truck and I used that as a trade in. My credit is not stellar, but even so, they were able to get a decent interest rate for me and my wife. Kudos also to the finance person - Mike Zeller - he was very clear concise and helpful in explaining the best way to finance the car. He also managed to get me the same interest rate at another bank that he said was much more customer friendly then the original one we were going to go with. Both Kate and Mike were very helpful in covering the pros and cons of getting the extended warranty and joining the Sheehy VIP club. While they gave us the information, we did not feel like they were giving us the hard-sell and we did ultimately purchase both. I highly recommend this dealership. Everyone I talked to was pleasant and helpful. The last time I bought a car, it was an hours long process. My wife and I went in there, signed the papers and I arranged to bring my truck in when the vehicle was shipped up to Maryland - two days later. I would definitely buy from this dealership again and make sure my salesperson is Kate Van Arnum More
