Recently, I had to deal with the VW buyback of my 2015 Golf SportWagen. I knew this process was inevitable, so I started my new vehicle search in August of 2016. My research led me to Sheehy Ford Gaithersburg and Katherine. Katherine kept in touch with me weekly to see how the buyback process was going and to keep me abreast of current incentives on all new Ford vehicles. For six months she sent me updates via e-mail, text and voicemail. Her dedication to me as a customer never wavered. She wasn't just looking for a sale, she was truly building a great customer relationship while other dealerships were moving me to the bottom of their call list. My experience at the dealership was stellar as well. I truly felt that their pricing was transparent and they were also willing to negotiate. Purchase of Used Car - Brandon Evans I visited Sheehy to drop off a vehicle for VIP work and while there I noticed a used 2011 For Explorer, I have a 2001 For Explorer that has been great I visited Sheehy to drop off a vehicle for VIP work and while there I noticed a used 2011 For Explorer, I have a 2001 For Explorer that has been great for our family and still running great but getting old. I saw a 2011 Ford Explorer sitting in the used lot that I thought would be great to replace our 3rd vehicle. Excellent sales customer service without pressure. This was my first time at this dealership and first time buying a Ford product (F-150) on 2/19/2017. I was immediately greeted by Willy when I entered the dealership. He was extremely friendly and provided an outstanding customer service. He understood my needs and he advised accordingly. Equally important, I never felt any sales pressure during my visit even though I ended up buying that day. I highly recommend Willy and the team at Sheehy Ford. Unfortunately I had a very poor after sale experience with different staff. It took 3 weeks for someone to get back to me about questions on finance and maintenance/warranty programs I signed up for. Now 10 weeks later (7 weeks after they finally got back to me) I'm still awaiting credit for the maintenance program I have paid for (this is typically a 3-4 week process). I highly recommend you get all the information you need while you're on site during your purchase and think twice before you pay for those programs offered even though you will be told they're totally refundable in case you change your mind. I'm debating whether I will go there for maintenance even though the service department is hopefully very different than the finance department. More
