Not a great experience at Sheehy Ford of Gaithersburg We've bought two Explorers from Sheehy and had them successfully serviced over the years. Gaithersburg isn't the most convenient location for us but t We've bought two Explorers from Sheehy and had them successfully serviced over the years. Gaithersburg isn't the most convenient location for us but the staff is friendly and overall we have been very satisfied with the service department. That changed last week when we brought one of our Explorers into have the back-up camera diagnosed (sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't) and get an oil change. Sheehy only has ONE technician that works on our specific electronics issue. So when we made our appointment, we made sure that he would be working that day. We dropped the car off the night before and planned to pick it up the next evening after work. By 4:00 the next afternoon, we had not heard from the service department regarding the back-up camera issue. No communication about the problem, the cost and parts to fix it, nothing. So we called Richard and he said that the technician had to leave early for a family emergency and that the work was never started or completed. I get that, things come up and people have to leave work. But the fact that this wasn't communicated to us until we called was disappointing. And the only solution that was offered was "hey, sorry, you'll just have to come back next week." So I think we'll give Koons Falls Church Ford a try. More

I highly recommend hi I recently had the pleasure of working with Sales and Leasing Specialist, Ndu Ashiogwu at Sheehy and had a wonderful experience! I highly recommend him and Sheehy. Ndu was courteous, attentive, knowledgeable, and easy to deal with. I met a lot of sales people on my car buying journey and NOONE was as good as Ndu. The car buying experience can be a challenging one indeed, mixed with sales people who are disrespectful and dishonest. I NEVER felt that way with Ndu. I cannot say enough kind and great words for the type of presentation Ndu gives Sheehy. He answered every question/email with patience and enthusiasm and never made me feel awkward for asking. He was very upfront and professional. A+++ If I could teach all of the sales people I came in contact with a few things about how to sell a car and win people over, I would tell them to go to Sheehy and meet Ndu! Above and Beyond Customer Service New to the area so used Sheehy Ford of Gaithersburg after reading great reviews on DealerRater, Yelp, etc. I was disappointed.
