Just before closing Brooks Neely met me in the service department and set up my 2022 Telluride for it's first routine service and exploration of two (2) recall notifications I had received from Kia. I tol department and set up my 2022 Telluride for it's first routine service and exploration of two (2) recall notifications I had received from Kia. I told Brooks I needed my SUV back before closing the next day. Brooks handled both my service and the recalls and made sure my Telluride was available when I came to pick it up the next afternoon. Surprised to walk in the next day to pick up my car after purchasing it the following day and walked past a few employees with not one of them speaking, even the manager…. We had to go searching around the i purchasing it the following day and walked past a few employees with not one of them speaking, even the manager…. We had to go searching around the inside of the building to find our salesman, who happened to be at lunch. Finally, we spoke first to someone who was able to inform us that he was at lunch and should be back shortly. This location seemed to be lacking exceptional customer service. They claim that the protection floor mats are “required” upon purchase due to them having a contract with the supplier but did not provide the cargo floor mat because it was on “backorder” which wasn’t told to us until after purchase when we asked the salesman. Since this was a “required” purchase, you would think if they wanted to provide exceptional customer service they would make a note of who does not receive the cargo floor mat due to them being on “back order” and send them to the buyer after it is received in stock but no. This, although not shocking, was not offered nor would they budge with the price of the floor mats….. to make matters worse, I contacted two other Kia dealers, one in Auburn Al and the other in Columbus Ga who both had the cargo floor mats!! More
