My husband and I were considering trading in our 2016 Sienna for a 2022 Odyssey. We went in with the intention of test driving their shuttle van to see if we liked the Odyssey and Kip did not allow us to Sienna for a 2022 Odyssey. We went in with the intention of test driving their shuttle van to see if we liked the Odyssey and Kip did not allow us to drive it because "it's a Saturday" - you would think that the shuttle would be busier during the week when people need to get to work. He put us in a 2019 Odyssey because "there haven't been any upgrades recently" - he awkwardly suggested that he go on the test drive with us which I thought was very strange. We got back knowing it wasn't for us but asked how much they would give us for the trade in and he refused to give us a price because "so much could change by the time the new one comes in" and pulled up KBB and plugged in our car... you think I didn't do that already? He texts me the next day to follow up and I say thank you for his time, but we went with the 2022 Sienna and he didn't even text me back. As a sales person, I think that's super rude - that is what caused me to submit this review. You don't know who I know, but I will never suggest a person to visit Serra Honda just because of this experience! Horrible! More
Communication was good until after I got the car. Within me having the car for 3 days the engine coil went out and I had to pay $500+ myself because I lived 2hrs away from the dealership and for whatever re me having the car for 3 days the engine coil went out and I had to pay $500+ myself because I lived 2hrs away from the dealership and for whatever reason my warranty didn’t cover that part. I was supposed to get a check to reimburse for the money I spent since I only had the car for three days but I have heard or been contacted back in the 7 months I’ve had the car. Definitely wouldn’t recommend anybody to go there based off my experience. More
Not only a good dealership, a good member of the community. They have fair, upfront pricing that matches what is expected based upon on-line recommendations. Their staff communicates well, are efficient and attentive. In the process of buying a new car or getting my new car serviced there has not been anything that was unexpected or handled poorly. They are mature in their dealings and fair in their pricing compared to other dealerships. Their service department has a policy of having trainees working with experienced mechanics, which brings out the best in both. Of any dealership we've dealt with, we like Serra the best. More
Awful customer service. Do not tell you the right amount to pay. Be ready to always pay more. Also they fix whatever they want without authorization and they charge you later. to pay. Be ready to always pay more. Also they fix whatever they want without authorization and they charge you later. More

I've been doing business with this dealer for a long time, and have been very satisfied from both with service and sales. JC is a standup guy--also Sal from Finance as well. Serra Honda O'Fallon sold me a car without a title. It has been 8 weeks and they will not return my calls and emails. The vehicle is now sitting in the driveway. And I can't drive it because the temp tags has been 8 weeks and they will not return my calls and emails. The vehicle is now sitting in the driveway. Stole 2500 dollars from me. They said it was a down payment for my finance company but they kept all of it and then acted innocent. This dealership are a bunch of crooks. Do not buy from them. However , the ball joint in the right wheel had shown wear, and I was given a dramatic explanation on why I should get it fix right then and now. The scare tactic, you bet. At that point I was informed that they usually replace both at the same time at the customers expense. At that point, they showed me the play within the ball joint. I figured, I was there, why not get it done. The other side was fine. I was also scheduled to have the A/C checked for leaks, and possible fill. There were no leaks, and it was slightly low. So instead of just filling it, they empty the system and apply new refrigerate. Sure, this way they can charge the customer more money But what really set me off, is telling me that the oil pressure switch is leaking towards the end of the visit. This is a switch that is located near the oil filter. They asked me if I smell burning oil, or oil droplets on the garage floor. The answer was no. So the following day, I decided to perform my own oil change. The switch was clean as can be, with no signs of leakage. I have also taken a picture of this switch. This Oil Pressure Switch/ Sender would have cost me $80.00, and $100 for labor. Since I had to leave my car there over night, the service manager promised to take a photo of the switch. He never did. After reviewing the diagram of the complete system on HondaParts dot com, there are only two oil switches. The diagram falls under Oil Pump/ Oil Strainer V6. Another issue is the service department is too presumptuous. They already had created an pre-invoice with all the things they thought needed to be repaired without checking with me first. This caused a problem with the final invoice. I have spent a lot of money as this dealership's service/ parts department(s). Primary when it was Meyer Honda. But it's done. I will not "trust" Serra Honda. My suggestion, when a dealership tells you there is something wrong with your car, get a second opinion. Just as you would if you were diagnosed with Cancer. You'll be saving yourself money. More
