Terrible experience. Non professional. After shopping for a vehicle for a week, I was assured my 160 mile trip to Serra GMC would be worthwhile. Man was I fooled. I've negotiated millio After shopping for a vehicle for a week, I was assured my 160 mile trip to Serra GMC would be worthwhile. Man was I fooled. I've negotiated million dollar deals with a fortune 500 company. During my career (29yrs) when two parties are really into the deal and fully prepared to discuss the final details you DO NOT go back to day one and start over. SERRA GMC did exactly this non professional strategy. This was not only frustrating but time consuming and prevents serious discussion from taking place. I have negotiated nearly 20 new vehicles in my life and SERRA GMC of Jackson, TN has the worst management of all my experiences. When I presented my shopping numbers to an experienced salesman, his reaction was that I may be fabricating the real numbers. Furthermore when stating my credit score of over 800, he said "I've heard that and after working with a customer for three hours he had a 500 credit score". My response, go check it! That's how I was treated and let management team know how upset I was when I stormed out. Never will I return to GMC SERRA of Jackson, TN. STAY AWAY and save yourself frustration. You can thank me later. More

We limped in on Easter Sunday night to wait for service to open in the AM. Caleb took us right in, ran the diagnostics, explained the issues and had us back on the road within an hour or so. So very grateful to have found an honest, capable service department. They also looked at a secondary issue for us and were very helpful. We could not have asked for better service. Thank you Serra...you have excellent employees who represent you well! More

I guess the value of a customer is 119 dollars or less. Would not recommend. More

Looked beautiful when finished but after a few months it started chipping off. Took it back and body shop manager said it was a light duty liner and that it scratches off easily. They said they would respray but it would scratch off again if I slid anything on it. I asked them why would they sell me an inferior product without informing me. Would not refund money. I will not buy another GM truck. More

It was a noise in the right front wheel of the 2013 GMC Acadia that took us to the Serra of Jackson Tennessee car dealership where we met service writer Melissa "Katy" Robinson. She listened to my concern, then took the information and guided us to the customer service waiting area while a mechanic checked out the car. It was not long before she told us it would take about three hours to repair the vehicle. (They had the parts. Wow!) A driver took us to the Casey Jones Railroad Museum complex in a dealership van. A few hours later the employee returned and took us back to our repaired vehicle. "Just sign here and you are ready to go," said Ms. Robinson. You would have had to have been there to understand how un-stressful this experience was. I was so thankful for the dealership to have such employees who could make this a pleasant educational afternoon rather than something negative, and have us right back on the road to continue with our vacation. I would like to nominate Ms. Katy Robinson as the GM Service Writer of the Year, with a similar nomination for the dealership and the mechanic who fixed our SUV. Sincerely, Russell S. We purchased a used Chevy from Serra and it was the worst mistake we have ever made. First not even 24hrs after getting the car the check engine light came on. We called the dealer to see if they would look at it and see what was going on yet they got mad and said NO " you couldn’t pay me to look at it". Yes it was AS IS but we asked you to just look, not pay for, fix or any of that. We even told them we would pay... sounds like they knew something was wrong and they sold JUNK! Then the salesman Matt said he would put me down for a " referral" where I would get a 100.00 gift card to cover a cosmetic blemish on the rear hatch since he didn’t want to ask for additional money from his boss. Weeks went by called, text, email and at first was told "oh its on its way", then started getting ignored. I have yet to see the gift card.... Please save yourself and DO NOT go here. Nothing but lies and JUNK. More
I bought a new truck here. I told them I would pay the invoice price for it, but no more than that. I had looked on the Internet and knew pretty well what that would be. They did a search for the type truck I wanted, and came back with about a dozen. We looked thru the sheets on them, and they called the dealer that had the one that I wanted. It was late afternoon by then, but they had it there the next morning.<br>I was very satisfied with the price, and did not have to spend even one minute arguing about price with a salesman. More
