The first thing he did was sit and had a conversation about what I was looking for, any favorite car and what I was looking to pay a month. With not so great credit I figured that it would be very hard to get a good monthly payments but Brandon was such a sweetheart and went truly above and beyond to make me happy! I can't thank him and the sales manager (Don) enough! More

He refused (service writer) to take care of my warranty work. I asked to see a manager & he wanted to know why? Acting Service Manger, irritated already so I said I came in to complain to him about the way his writer talked & treated me. He said I already told him to tell you to take it back to the selling dealership. He & his acting manager for the day told me & my car to get off his property. I wonder if Mr Serpentini knows that he doesn't own the property anymore? After a few choice words I was leaving until I decided to tell the General Manager. Matt was very polite & said he would follow up on Monday when the Service director get back. Regardless of how this works out-Do yourself a favor & go elsewhere to another Chevy dealer More
"Lying to the customer...and proud of it!" Unfortunately, this has been the worst buying experience we have ever encountered. We were mislead and disrespected nearly every step of the way. It Unfortunately, this has been the worst buying experience we have ever encountered. We were mislead and disrespected nearly every step of the way. It started with our first visit to Serpentini Chevrolet in Strongsville where we met with Jon Kostandaras. While friendly and courteous, Jon refused to answer our questions via email, instead insisting we come to the dealership for the answers. A week or so later, we stopped by the Serpentini Chevrolet to meet with Samantha Shemple, who followed up on a Kelley Blue Book offer to buy our car. Unfortunately, even though we mentioned this when we arrived, no one went to get her and we were redirected to Josh Channell, who initially seemed interested in helping us find a vehicle. Unfortunately, this took a turn for the worse after we became a more interested in a vehicle. We were at the dealership with our young children and repeatedly mentioned that we needed to leave soon because it was getting late. Josh, and the gentleman he introduced as his manager, Willis Tabron, wouldn’t let up. They refused to offer us the amount for our vehicle even though Samantha Shemple said, “This is the minimal price that is offered and we may be willing to pay you more for your vehicle. We are very serious about buying your vehicle TODAY!” The only good to come out of this meeting was that we had tentatively agreed to a price, pending additional information I was to call about the next day. After calling Josh the next day and unable to come up with the information, Josh checked with “my manager” and assured me that we could proceed with the deal and to come back to the dealership that afternoon. Before we ended the call, I confirmed two things with Josh, 1. That the deal would proceed according to the tentative price offered the day before and 2. That all numbers would be fully explained to me prior to proceeding any further. I also asked that we proceed with the transaction in a timely manner. We set a time of 4pm on Friday, March 25th. When we arrived at our set time we were greeted by a 30 minute delay. When Josh finally met with us, he said the paperwork was being worked on. I reminded him of our conversation earlier that day about the price and explanation of the numbers and he said we’d discuss it soon and walked away. After another 30-40 minute wait, Josh told us the finance manager, Kara Lee Rundle, was ready to discuss everything with us. After being introduced to her, she said she had nothing to do with the pricing, nor explanation of the numbers and that it was already written up. The price was over $2,200 more than our agreement! Further, Ms. Rundle boasted about how much business Serpentini Chevrolet did with the finance companies and, basically, that we were just a number. She also told us she was on the phone with the finance company for 20 minutes trying to get us a top finance rating. Since I have an 817 credit rating, I can’t comprehend why she had to work so hard at it. I also would assume this call to the finance company would fall under her job responsibility. So, in essence she was bragging to us that she was doing her job! At this point, after being lied to and disrespected by virtually everyone from Serpentini Chevrolet, the prospective joy that should come with bringing home a new vehicle was ruined. My wife and I were totally disappointed, our kids were crying and we should have turned and walked away at that point. Josh told us he was disappointed we felt that way and would do anything to get a “completely satisfied” grade on his survey. I explained that he probably should have thought of that before he lied to and disrespected us. He further insulted us by offering us a free oil change in return for a “completely satisfied” grade! The next step in the process was with Terry who was responsible for reviewing the operation of the vehicle. Although I felt she did an inadequate job at this, I couldn’t tell because she had a strong odor of smoke and cheap perfume and I was more concerned of her smelling up my new car than anything she had to say about the vehicle. After leaving the dealership, there was no follow up or apology from any of Serpentini Chevrolet’s representatives. In fact, the only correspondence was from Josh Channell who texted that our trade in was to be wholesaled. I waited over two weeks to complete this survey in hopes that someone from Serpentini Chevrolet would contact us to apologize and try to offer compensation or at least an explanation for their actions. The silence coming from Serpentini Chevrolet was deafening to us and solidifies our feelings on this dealership. In our employment we interact with many people each day in Serpentini Chevrolet’s demographics and will make it a point to relay our experience to anyone in the market for a vehicle. More

It took me over 15 months for them to give me a vehicle that didn't shake at highway speeds, leak water after it rained and rattled over every bump and turn. This was a brand new vehicle and every time a brought it to them they said"NO PROBLEM FOUND". Finally General Motors Agreed with me and repurchased the truck and gave me a new truck that is as close to perfect that one would expect, Thank you to the Better Business Bureau. still fighting with Carol and Nat in the finance department for my money back on the service warranty that was purchased after the vehicle sale. they don't like giving money back only taking it! not even sales tax on the items returned. I don't understand why they give people such a hard time giving people whats rightfully theirs. Not giving up. More

I knew exactly what I wanted in the vehicle, I just wanted the assistance of a salesman to walk me through the numbers part, something that would take a decent salesman a small 15 minutes of their time. However, the salesman so rudely explained that they don't make commission over just sitting down and speaking about prices if I wasn't looking to buy that day or even that same week. So thank you to the salesman Derek that make me angry enough to go to a different dealership. I left Serpentini, and went straight to Pat O'Brien Chevrolet where I actually ended up buying a car that very same day. All because the salesman took 15 minutes of his time to go over my inquiries! Thank you Derek for sending me to the right place! More

I hate it when I can't trust the sales team!!!! Everything was going well until I was lied to. I went to look at a particular car at Serpentini that I had found on Auto Trader. I test drove the car Everything was going well until I was lied to. I went to look at a particular car at Serpentini that I had found on Auto Trader. I test drove the car and loved it, so I decided that I wanted to start talking numbers. I filled out the application, but my salesman came back very fast with a piece of paper with my credit score. I had just reviewed my credit score before going to Serpentini and the credit score they pulled was 100 points lower than what I had. At this point I asked my salesman what kind of hit on my credit was it for him to pull my credit and he told me that it was a "soft" hit. At this time I told my salemans that I did NOT want them to submit my information to the banks because my credit score was not what I thought it was, which means possible higher interest rates. I told my salesman that I wanted more time to think about the whole situation. I even showed him the credit scores that I had pulled earlier. Well, of course the salemans brought his manager over to talk with me. I asked him the same question about what type of hit was put on my credit and he stated it was a "soft" hit just for my credit being pulled. I again told the manager that I did NOT want my information submitted to the bank and he stated ok, that they do not submit without my authorization. I left thinking everything was ok. I got home and reviewed an email from my credit monitoring service stating that I had 2 "hard" hits to my credit. I reviewed my credit again and come to find out I had a total of eight 8 "hard" hits to my credit from this day from Serpentini and banks that they had submitted my information to without my authorization. I first tried to contact my salemans, they sent me to voicemail. I then talked with his manager and he took my number to have the financial manager give me a call back. The financial manager called me back stating that he never received information to not submit my information to the banks and that he was trying to find me the best interest rate possible. He also mentioned that they had found me a good rate. At this point I did not care about what type of interest rate they had found, because I did not authorize them to submit my information to the banks. The financial manager told me that the 8 "hard" hits did not affect my credit, which is a lie. Everybody knows that once those type of inquires are done that it affects your credit. The financial manager basically just said that he would have a talk with the salemans about the situation. But, what about my credit????? It's already not the best and they have made it worst without my consent!!!!!!! More
