We took our 2007 Chrysler 300 for an airbag recall to the Fields Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram in Sanford. The service advisor recommended we have a radiator flush based on the car’s current mileage. Prior to this, my car had never had any kind of problems in the 9 years that we owned it. After the service was completed the engine blew and the reason provided to us by the dealership was radiator failure. When it was towed back to the dealer, Tom called us back to us to let us know that the engine was damaged and the cost was $11,000 to repair. He advised that they understand how unpleasant it is to hear that but the airbag was fixed! We were very unhappy to hear such a bad news! According to the assistant manager Chris and the general manager David R. Simoni, it had nothing to do with the service performed. They made emphasis that it was an unfortunate coincidence and that they replaced the radiator reservoir cap and added antifreeze. We know clearly that this is their responsibility.. After researching the issue we have found the following possible reasons for the radiator failure and car overheating: 1-Wrong PSI on the radiator reservoir cap. 2- The coolant system wasn't bled correctly which created an air pocket causing the car to overheat. After spending a total of $1,000 between new tires and a tune up, now they are telling us that the cost for the engine replacement is $11.000. After discussing our concerns with the General Manager, he offered a discount of $2,100 making the final cost to us $ 8,900 to repair the failed engine and coolant system. It isn't plausible that an object could puncture the radiator in the middle-rear, right behind the electric fan and a/c condenser; so overpressurization is the only logical explanation, not a coincedence. We talked to them and explained that our car never had any kind of problem whatsoever prior to 3 weeks ago after they worked on it. What should we do next? We think it is their responsibility to fix the damage to my car without charging us such an outrageous amount. We greatly any insight or advice you can provide to this seemingly impossible situation we currently find ourselves in. More

Started Great, Now we are just a Past SALE. We bought a Mercedes Benz C Class less than 2 weeks ago. We did purchase, the process took over 5 hours as we had to wait for Finance to sign paper work with our 2 yr old toddler. Left there at midnight and went out of town that weekend. On Tues the following week I contacted the salesman who then told me basically we already purchased the car as is. This dealership has no integrity for its customers. I asked him to speak to his manager, God knows if he ever did I never received a call back or response. I then saw a thank you for purchasing letter and emailed them regarding the issue, it has been almost a week and no response. I will call the manager today! Captain Dave a doing a good job at first and the Finance Manager was amazing. I am pretty disappointed. The dwell on free washes and bbqs, I just want the tint replaced since you sold me a car that I cant barely see out the back window. I have 2 relatives looking for car, will I send them there...NO thanks. More

Rename your "service" dept Bought my brand new van there in April of 2014. They messed up the title paperwork twice. They did finally correct it. I noticed the air conditioning wasn't getting very cool. As in 30 minutes in it on high and I am still sweating in my 1 year old van. Took it in as it was under warranty. Told them what was going on and that it was more then likely the expansion valve. They said it was a half pound over charged and gave it back. Still hot. Took it back, they said it was in spec after checking it in the garage of an air conditioned shopped. We asked for the dodge procedures and standards for the ac. We followed the procedures our selves and it failed ever test. Took it back for the 3rd time and gave them the results. Surprise surprise the expansion valve was bad. The gm was rude, we emailed him in a none confrontational manner and he was condensing. I will not purchase another vehicle from this dealership. Ever. More

"Capn" Dave and Riley Eiland took time to find out what I really wanted and needed and came up with an even better idea: a new car for essentially the same price!!! No pressure or slick tactics...just rebates, incentives and simple math! I felt comfortable that they were interested in me and not just maximizing profits. When I took delivery they made sure I was out in 30 minutes since I told them this was very important to me; no upselling, time wasting stuff. I left feeling like I had really stumbled into something great and never looked by. Not a hint of buyers remorse. Top notch dealership...Hope I need something they sell in the future! D, Clark More
