My girlfriend had nothing but great things to say about her previous purchase with Fields and thought it would be an excellent idea to go through them again. Well, after arriving.... we met with out exceptional rep, Ronnie, who might I say is an perfect example of what any other sales person should inspire to emulate. Ronnie did not take any shortcuts in ensuring we both got the vehicles we desired. Not only did he help ensure a few rough areas were smoothed over BUT he got me the dream truck I always wanted.... right off the SHOW ROOM floor!! Don't Care About Your Business Went in to look at a vehicle advertised online and told the salesperson we didn't want to hear any double talk. We had all intentions of buying the ve Went in to look at a vehicle advertised online and told the salesperson we didn't want to hear any double talk. We had all intentions of buying the vehicle but it wasn't on the lot. It was found on the new arrival lot (website only had exterior pictures) Car looked great without even going through service. Sales person said it had only been there a few days. We went off to other dealers but came back to this car the same day. We asked if there was any wiggle room in the price. Then the BS started. First they said they already had dropped the price $2,000 and the vehicle had been there 2 weeks. Then he couldn't give us a price because it needed a Chevy part replaced and he didn't know how much that would be since Chevy was doing the work. At which point we told him that was odd that a different dealership would be doing the repair. Then he said he would call us back after the service department finished changing out the part. We pointed out that he just told us a different place was doing that work, which he replied that they had to order the part but Fields was doing the work. So what started out as a sure sale ended up with us walking out, he told us he would contact us with a price once the vehicle was out of service center. We recieved 2 calls from the receptionist asking if we were still interested, which we replied 'yes' we were waiting on a price. That never came and they vehicle is now sold. So they really must make plenty of money on their sales because they don't care enough if they lose a sure sale over $1000 (greedy, greedy, greedy!!!) Just as an example, they got this vehicle on trade (most likely they have $8000 in it) probably told the original owner that it was worth $10,000. They marked it up to $14,000 and were selling it after Dealer Fees, Taxes, Title, and Service Fee for $15,500. So to say there was no room in a $7000 profit is a lie to your face and all dealerships do it. More
