NAVIGATION / SATELLITE SYSTEM I have a 2007 Chrysler Aspen which is garage keep, maintenance maintained and looks new. I have had issues with the Navigation System for almost a ye I have a 2007 Chrysler Aspen which is garage keep, maintenance maintained and looks new. I have had issues with the Navigation System for almost a year. Because the unit needed to be replaced, I purchased a New/Rebuilt unit. This unit worked fine for about six months, then I started having issues with the replacement. I have had the vehicle back to the dealership three times. All three times I leave the vehicle and when I pick up the vehicle, I hear the unit is working fine, NO PROBLEM! This last time I video taped how the unit was acting. Showed the Advisor and the Service Tech! I called during the day to see what was happening and was told that it was still being checked out. I was called and told what they thought the issue was. I go to pick up the vehicle to find out that the Receiver appears to be going BAD! I asked about ordering the part and the cost, just to find out that the part is NO LONGER AVAILABLE! I asked if they tried EBAY or AMAZON and was told that it would not have a WARRANTY if they located the part! So now I have a beautiful SUV with a NAVIGATION SYSTEM that functions improperly. When a passenger rides in the vehicle and asks about the radio, I tell them the story and there response is NEGATIVE toward MOPARS and that is why they drive X car! I found one on Factory Chrysler Parts here in Florida! Why can't this dealership purchase from them with a WARRANTY? More
