Not bad, just not good either. I went in on a particular vehicle. It is, admittedly a unique vehicle with unique options and they were the only dealer within 100 miles that even ma I went in on a particular vehicle. It is, admittedly a unique vehicle with unique options and they were the only dealer within 100 miles that even matched what I was looking for. When I got there it took a while to have a salesman greet me, and when he did he seemed fairly uninterested in selling a car. I took a test drive and we agreed upon me coming back the next day to finalize the deal. Apparently he was too busy to work a deal THAT day. No follow-up call and when I got in it seemed like I had to wait and wait for the salesman every step of the way. I was a serious buyer ready to drive the vehicle home and he acted like it was in imposition. Never did he try to establish rapport or talk to me on anything but a sales / numbers level. We wound up negotiating for much longer than I would have liked and it was really over a few hundred dollars at most. Once we agreed on a deal and I got in to financing it was a different story. The finance manager was friendly, picked up on shared ground from my last job and my trade in vehicle...wound up establishing acres of rapport in a ten minute period. I left happy because I got the vehicle I needed and the deal I wanted....but also because the finance manager was awesome at his job. I wish Dirk had been able to help me from beginning to end, maybe I wouldn't have been there so long. I can't say it was a bad dealership. I honestly got a unique vehicle that fit my needs at a great price. It just never seemed like I was treated as a serious buyer, or a priority customer until I got in to finance. I did get a follow up call after purchase, but I honestly think the salesman did the bare minimum and didn't care about the actual sale. More
