The most distasteful service I've ever experienced. I made an appointment probably 3 months ahead of time for a recall issue on my Elantra in Aug 2024. I walked in to the service department and the front desk guy started his sales pitch for about 7 mins, I paitently listened and told him I'll just do the recall fix for today. He told me it'll probably take 90 mins. I came back in an hour or so and found out my car was still at the same spot that I dropped off. I waited for the same front desk guy to be free and then he told me they ran out of parts. I was in shock. I made this appointment way ahead of time. They knew when and why I was coming and yet nobody cares to give me a courtesy call to tell me I should reschedule this appointment, which I need to take half day off from work. They even checked in my car, wouldn't they have known THEN? The front desk guy, not only was he not apologetic for all the trouble they have caused me, he even said something to the effect that I can go to Korea to get the parts myself and continued to say when they are out of parts they are out of parts, there is nothing they can do and that's the way Hyundai is doing business. I can tell you guys something from this experience: I would never buy an Hyundai in my life and will do my best to let Americans know how Hyundai is conducting its Service Deparment business, at least, the one located in North Seattle. Still can't believe if what I experienced is for real? Wow..... More

I give it 2 stars to be fair. I came in for an oil change which should have been the usual $120.00 & instead I got bombarded with additional "services" I was strongly urged I need I came in for an oil change which should have been the usual $120.00 & instead I got bombarded with additional "services" I was strongly urged I needed by Mr. Trevine "Keith" Fernando or Keith as he liked to be called. In a total of trying to get me to spend a grand total of over 2600 dollars! And had I said "yes" they wanted the car overnight. I take great care of my car. I always keep the tank on full or never under a half a tank. I keep up on the maintenance & oil changes as needed. So either the previous employees that I've been seeing have grossly neglected to tell me I (needed) these various services or I was seriously taken for a ride this time around in going back with the new staff. Either way, I'm NOT happy about the unexpected expenses or the lack of communication. Sad to say the Yelp reviews aren't that great about this location either in which I was sure to leave one there as well. Hyundai Of Seattle needs to do better, this is NOT a good look. More
