The sales are straightforward with the price. It's a present experience. The second key for the car was missing when I purchased the Ioniq 5. There was a slight delay in getting the second key. I was impressed and well supported during the purchasing period, which was a total of about three days, all managed off site by text, email and phone. Taking delivery was not as good an experience. I was gi period, which was a total of about three days, all managed off site by text, email and phone. Taking delivery was not as good an experience. I was given the key and sent home. I had test driven a similar car elsewhere, so knew I wanted the car, but some time with it on site would have helped me learn some of the aspects of it that I am only finding out weeks later. I was to receive an adapter for the charger in the mail, coming from the dealer. Two weeks later that has not arrived. The Finance office experience was superb. Kacy did a great job of explaining all aspects of the financing and optional coverages. More
A typical car dealer. Advertise a price then pile on the markups when you get there. I told them I did not want ANY of their fluff. They argued and kept putting them on Advertise a price then pile on the markups when you get there. I told them I did not want ANY of their fluff. They argued and kept putting them on, One was the Waypoint for $799. I said no and crossed it off. They also refused to honor the advertised interest rates, I was paying it off the following week anyway. I get in the finance office and there is Waypoint paperwork. I said I declined that and crossed it off the deal. After discussing with the "manager" they said it can't be removed, take it or deal is off. I ended up signing since I already had a headache and it had been a few hours. The waypoint duplicates what the car already does as far as tracking, geofencing and a lot of other warnings. It is redundant. They told me it pays an additional $5000 if my car is stolen, it does not. It reimburses up to $5000 of qualified expenses. They do not give you paperwork there, which is nice, but later reading the Waypoint contract it says it is non-cancelable. They also said the device can't be removed, I removed it in less than a minute with no tools. It uses a jumper on the OBD II port with a wire leading to the GPS module inside the kick panel. Just unplug it at the OBD port and pull the wire to lift out the module. Truly another dishonest shady dealer. My sales person was young and fairly new. It's a shame they are teaching young people that being deceptive and dishonest is how to do business. More
Arrived at opening to test drive a new car and ended up purchasing a new Ionic 5 with all the bells and whistles. Easy and relaxed experience and Matt Leavitt even went the extra mile to show us how to use purchasing a new Ionic 5 with all the bells and whistles. This was my 2nd time purchasing a new car from this dealership and I would recommend them to anyone. More
First, the good news. I was pleased that Mahd was able to get me a very good price on the car I wanted in good time, with minimal hassle. None of my of my overall negati I was pleased that Mahd was able to get me a very good price on the car I wanted in good time, with minimal hassle. None of my of my overall negative conclusions have anything to do with him. He was courteous and helpful throughout. Once the deal was struck, however, my experience began to deteriorate. I opted to take Hyundai’s rebate in exchange for financing the car through Hyundai of America. However, I intended to make a large down payment in order to minimize interest costs. The financing rep (can’t remember his name) insisted that I make a ZERO down payment, saying, “Help me out here. We need to make something off this deal, too.” )I wasn’t aware that I needed to help the dealership increase its profit at my expense.) I told him that I didn’t want to incur the interest costs, but in order to get the deal, done, I accepted his offer to take a little off the price. That still didn’t fully compensate me for the interest costs I will bear, but I was tired and just wanted to be done. Next, I was told that the vehicle would be ready for delivery the next day. So I drove in on Saturday (39 miles from my home) only to be told that it needed recall service that wouldn’t be done until the following Monday, necessitating two trips. While I was there, though, we completed the required paperwork, which took all of about 25 minutes, but only after I cooled my heels for nearly an hour and a half waiting for some sort of technical fix on the magic desktop in the finance office. Next, I got a quote for Hyundai’s Extended Warranty Service that completely blew me out of the water. I did some homework over the weekend and found identical coverage from another Hyundai dealer for 40% of your quote. Another nit - texts exchanged with the finance office were unprofessional - “ur” for your; “bizzy” for busy. Maybe I shouldn’t care, but when I’m dropping $45,000 for a once-every-ten-year transaction (at least for me), I’d prefer to be recognized as an adult. When I arrived to pick up the car, Mahd was very helpful in answering questions about systems and operations. My only feedback there is that he could slow down just a bit with a 75-year-old who’s a bit technically challenged. Bottom line for me is that the sales and delivery experiences were perfectly fine, but the financing process left me cold. More
Walked in to do some test driving, walked out with a great deal on a 2023 Tucson Limited.
