We walked in, said, "We want to lease a Fit at this advertised price," and were generally met with blank looks and b-s explanations as to why the advertised price was not available. At Scott Honda, the first offer we were given was not the advertised price (same as with the other dealerships), but when we showed our salesperson, Candace Carney, the ad, she went back to the business office and came back with the exact price we wanted. I'm guessing that any dealership will highball the first offer, but this was the first one where they actually stood behind their printed advertisement. Candice was very friendly. I tend to feel that I'm being screwed out of something whenever I walk into any dealership, but I really got the impression that Candice was interested in coming to a mutually beneficial arrangement, rather than milking us for every last penny. I appreciate that a lot. More

Pleasant experience...! I stopped in at Scott Honda in the 11th hour of working a deal with another dealership. The other dealership would not budge on the Pilot I was interested in, and I thought I owed to myself to check another dealership before making a possible bad decision. As soon as I walked through the door at Scott, I was met by Hiep Luong, who was courteous, friendly, and genuinely interested in what I was looking for. At first, the Pilot I was after had just been committed to a dealer trade, but Scott made the car available to me. I really started out just inquiring, noting that I had an appointment with the other dealership. Before I knew it, I was driving out with a brand new car. Hiep was fantastic! Never pressured me, and worked really hard explaining all the features and showing me around the dealership. Their service area is the nicest I have ever seen!! You drive your car into a huge reception area with tiled flooring - truly impressive. One of the best experiences I have ever had purchasing a new car. Thank you Hiep! It did not seem to matter that my choice was not a "high end" vehicle or a new car with fancy bells and whistles; Stacy treated me and my vehicle with respect. She made sure all my questions were answered, and helped me to make arrangements for my rental vehicle, and getting it ready for the vendor to pick up at Scott Honda. While Phil Dunbar helped me to wade through the purchase paperwork, also treating me with professionalism, friendliness and courtesy, Stacy made sure my car was in tip-top shape, ready to go, then taking me through the different controls and making sure that I was happy with my purchase.
