Not happy with car purchase I purchased a car a little I over a month ago and I am not pleased with the car. When I came to pick up the car I noticed an annoying whining noise I purchased a car a little I over a month ago and I am not pleased with the car. When I came to pick up the car I noticed an annoying whining noise and a very stiff steering wheel as I pulled off. I immediately called my salesperson the next day who directed me to the service department. I explained the issues to the service rep in addition to a couple other issues that were already going to be repaired as discussed in the sale. A couple of days later I received a call to pick up my car and was told they didn't find anything wrong and that they didn't do one of the services that were agreed upon when I purchased the car. To shorten the story the steering wheel loosened some but now it still stiffens at times. I felt like the service department brushed me off and even though I was told I could exchange my car by the sales manager, they never had a car within the 30 days that was comparable in price or model, so I had no other options. My salesperson was very nice, but ultimately I wasn't pleased and I still believe something is wrong with my car and I don't think the service department did their due diligence to find out why it runs the way it does. I was told that's just the way it runs. I will more than likely not come to this dealership to purchase a car again. More

After a great deal of internet research on available pre-owned Civics and on dealer reputations, I decided to go to Scott Honda. I'm so glad I did. Their selection of certified vehicles was top notch--the cars are competitively priced, and many of them have excellent service records, including several pristine lease vehicles that have been serviced at Scott Honda their entire lives (I requested and received the complete service record of the vehicle that I purchased). Moreover, the dealership environment was very relaxing, with no hint of pressure and no sales crew shenanigans. In fact, after test driving the car that I wanted on a Saturday evening, my salesman, Bill Taylor, encouraged me to go home and sleep on the matter before I made any decision. He assured me that he would be available first thing on the next business day if I wanted to move forward with the purchase. He added that the dealership wants its customers to feel confident in their decisions so that they leave happy customers. When I returned today to purchase the vehicle, Bill facilitated the process in a way that put me completely at ease. Though the purchase took some time--due to a problem with my out of state lender, not any limitation on Scott Honda's part--Bill was a gentleman and trustworthy guide throughout. So, too, was Azad in the dealership's finance department. I couldn't be more pleased with my buying experience at Scott Honda. I did, indeed, drive home a happy customer. My experience at Scott Honda My family has purchased a number of cars from Scott Honda. I, my wife and two of my daughters have either purchased or leased somewhere in the neighb My family has purchased a number of cars from Scott Honda. I, my wife and two of my daughters have either purchased or leased somewhere in the neighborhood of 10 cars over the past 8 years. Most of those were purchased from Steve Valoczki. He is a no-pressure salesman. Most recently I worked with Steve and Azad Yepremian for my purchase of a 2016 Honda Pilot. I love Honda as an automobile manufacturer. I like how they market their cars with an easy-to-understand set of packages and only a few options available per package. This allows the buyer to get only what he or she needs but Honda includes so much as standard equipment, it's rare that something you really want isn't available. If I have any gripe with Honda, it's the fact that there is only so much bargaining room per car. Having said that, the cost of ownership on Honda's is exceptionally low given their excellent re-sale value. One last thing, I have been a steady customer of Scott's service. It is convenient, organized and efficient. A lot of people are reluctant to service their cars at dealerships due to cost considerations and, at times, pressure to do more work on the car that is really needed. I have never experienced any of that at Scott Honda. More
