Disgusting how far they will go to screw you out of thousands. Devaughn lied about every single aspect of my contract; said interest was included in the final number, then received the actual contract thousands. Devaughn lied about every single aspect of my contract; said interest was included in the final number, then received the actual contract in the mail a week later and there was several thousand dollars added on because they did not include interest in the total like they said. Lied and said I could only get approved for one car that was over budget and I hated. My lender said this was untrue, and if I could get my original financing paperwork from the dealership I could get out of my contract (they changed my income amounts and straight up lied on my application AFTER I signed it). No surprise, they refuse to give me my paperwork. Leo charged me ridiculous amounts for warranties and gap insurance, then wouldn’t answer phone calls for weeks to cancel them…then blatantly lied and said they were cancelled…then a week later I have to come in and cancel them? Conveniently this was after the deadline to cancel and I ended up paying for the majority of the warranties anyway. My credit is destroyed, I was pushed into buying this car and when I made it very clear I couldn’t afford it I was told this car was literally my only option. I needed a car. Was given options to come back after a few months of working on my credit (which was in the 600s) then was told by other dealerships that was complete xx and never would have been an option. This contract has negatively affected my finances and will continue to for YEARS, I have no choice but to struggle through paying it off and try to rebuild my credit; trading in a car I’m upside down $10k on would turn this in to a cycle. It is easy to feel like you are being given good customer service or being helped in the moment, but clearly not one person that “helped” me here has any integrity or empathy. All of the bad reviews say the same things, and half of the people giving good reviews probably don’t realize they have been screwed over yet. I bought multiple cars at this dealership through Devaughn. Never again will I go to a Scott Clark dealership. More
