This dealership is the BEST Volvo dealership! !! I literally drive right pass another Volvo dealer in my town where I live, drive 1/2 hour on the highway, to go to Schumacher. Everyone there is a !! Quite possibly thee most awful customer service experience I’ve ever had. Turn off the phone off. The whole transaction was sooo sloppy. We bought our 75 year old mom an XC60 Recharge and paid c experience I’ve ever had. Turn off the phone off. The whole transaction was sooo sloppy. We bought our 75 year old mom an XC60 Recharge and paid cash.. and they sent the car off with no temp tag since she’s registering out of state which is quite unusual anyway. But, then we had to call and text daily for over a week before anything. Which made the car have to sit still. A car we got her and paid CASH for. SMH. Disappointed to say the least. This, mind you, is after the CPO Volvo XC60 was advertised as CPO since August 2022 but other Volvo dealers showed it as having the original warranty expired 10/30/22 and no Certified Preowned warranty showing. Volvo’s system is the whole N America and nationwide so this was odd. Also, Carfax didn’t reflect it. Instead of them admitting a mistake and just saying they never added it to their database.. they had us waiting for days and would’ve lost the deal if my wife really didn’t push me to call back, and push them to fix the issue. When they finally did, the salesman Gary says “it’s how they do it.. they wait til it’s sold then add it just in case people want to negotiate a lesser price and not take the warranty.” SMH. It’s so hard to admit you messed up. Sad. But, nonetheless they added the warranty on literally that day. And it reflected on Carfax also. So, we proceeded to cash out. Oh, and it gets better.. then they charged us a $397 fee for “electronic registration” which they didn’t do since they not only didn’t provide a temporary tag, but they had her do her own registration and title in her home state. When requesting a refund for that fee charged for nothing, mum’s the word. They’re all about their reviews. So much so, the salesman Gary Sanchez even reminded me to leave him a good review. Which this is as good as it’s gonna get, Gary. You gave me the runaround the whole time and I even tried complimenting you and telling you you’re doing great, to help with getting the deal done smoothly. But I’m not surprised. More
I was visiting family in the area and decided to spend a day car shopping in West Palm. Knowing I wanted a 3 row SUV I went to several luxury car dealerships but it was Matt Needle @ Schumacher Volvo that day car shopping in West Palm. Knowing I wanted a 3 row SUV I went to several luxury car dealerships but it was Matt Needle @ Schumacher Volvo that sold me on the Volvo. Undetered that I was from out of state, he spent a lot of time with me covering all of the features and benefits, answered ALL of my questions (and there were a lot), reviewed the best options for what I was looking for, let me take it out for a test drive and followed up a few days later. I came home and shopped several other Volvo dealers in my hometown but it was Matt who ultimately sold me my car. He is knowledgeable about many car models (good for comparison shopping), but an expert with the Volvo product line, was always available to answer my questions and patiently walked me through all of the 2023 options before they were made public. He worked hard to earn my business. While I anticipate I will keep this car for a long time - if I am ever in the market for another Volvo - Matt will be my salesperson! More
