Finally, we used some online sources and received several responses to our inquiry. Of all of them, Shortline was the only one to come forward with the vehicle we wanted, at an incredibly fair price. They included all charges, as well as the features that we wanted. Everyone else started off with slightly different vehicles at elevated prices or refused to give full information. This is even though all of the vehicles would have had to be pre-ordered. Understandably nervous about the deal falling through, or switch techniques, I made a few emails to the Internet Sales Manager, Eric Violante, and his responses were always calm and reassuring. The car arrived and there were no surprises. Everything was as we asked and we were not pressured into anything. Eric Addy was on the spot with financing and got us a better rate than we had through a pre arranged creditor. He offered us all of the warranties, as he should, and we were able to negotiate, fully informed, on what we wanted without the subterfuge that one usually finds at a dealership. Indeed, Mr. Addy was very forthcoming about what we were doing. It was truly nice to work with honorable people. Shortline is our dealership of choice. More

Subaru dealers are typically above average, I find, in product knowledge. While this is not universally true for the brand, David knows his product and answers questions immediately and accurately. Unfortunately, he was on vacation when I went there the second time, that was why I met the other sales consultant, Mr. Marvis Cobb. I love this guy, he was super nice and very knowledgeable. He spent almost 2 hours to tell me all the features of the car, answered every questions I had and did several follow up phone calls after I bought the car! I also would like to thank several staff there, Mr. Mark in service department (He was super nice too and spent a long time to do the test drive with me and explained everything very patiently.), the sales manager Rob and Tony from the finance department. I met and worked with Marvis Cobb at Shortline automotive. He was friendly, very careful and thorough. Most importantly to me, he was absolutely honest and straight-forward. This was my first Subaru and also the first time I had all the new safety features. I was amazed at all the time he spent with me. He also gave me tips and recommendations that he did not have to (that were very helpful). I was so impressed that I have already mentioned him to some of my friends.
