I never thought I would use those words to describe buying a car, given my other car purchasing experience, but it is true. It was A GREAT EXPERIENCE! I emailed Shortline Subaru for a price for the model and trim I was interested in, and David promptly responded with a quote which was much lower than any other quote I received. We talked on the phone, and David reserved a car for me. He kept me informed when it looked like there might be a delay, but my car arrived on time (Thank you!). The Saturday morning visit to the dealership to meet with David and the finance manager, Joel Gonzalez, was efficient and informative. It was a pleasure to conduct business with them both. After the purchase was complete, we went out to my new car, and David explained how to drive during the engine break-in period, and took a lot of time to show me how to use the all the great features on the car. All I can say is, contact David Cardwell ("the British guy") at Shortline Subaru first if you are purchasing a car. You won't regret it! More

Mitch and Johny were so incredibly helpful, friendly, knowledgable and such a pleasure to work with. I never felt pressured and knew I was getting the best deal possible without any funny business. I also thought I was going to have to wait awhile to get the exact car I wanted, but with Mitch staying on top of it, he found one and was able to get it to me the next day- which is when I needed it by in the first place. Johny helped me understand all the details of leasing (which I was really skeptical about) and I felt completely at ease moving forward with that option. Very Friendly and Honest Buying Experience I started off my car buying search by browsing dealer websites. I started at Shortline because of the proximity to home, no other reasons. Within a day of requesting more information on new car, I had an email with a quote from Mike Mattingly, their Internet Sales Manager. After shopping around at other dealerships, looking for the lowest price, it came out that Mike's initial offer was far lower than that from the other dealerships. It was good to see I was getting the best offer right away. Mike was very pleasant to work with, and accommodated my sporadic schedule. We were signing papers well past the dealership's hours on a Saturday night. Not that this was a big selling point for me, but the large selection of all the different models and colors was very convenient. When I was talking with the other dealers, they only had a cars with the configuration I wanted, and albeit they could get the car I wanted, it was nice to be able to not have to wait. If you are in the market for a Subaru, I would highly recommend Shortline. More

Good Purchase Process of Used Subaru I purchased a 2009 Outback from Shortline earlier this month. The sales rep I worked with, Carl Volk, was a good guy who made the process very easy. The car did have 2 minor issues after I drove off the lot that the dealership is resolving for me at not cost to myself (this was not a certified car either).
