Instead of the refusal to negotiate over the Internet position of the locals this is what David does, David not only offered the best deal but worked tirelessly to overcome the hitches of dealing with lifting my credit freeze and our out of the country travel just before the deal closed. He then spent a lot of time with me thoroughly going through the many safety and comfort features of our new Touring. More

Buyer Beware!!! BUYER BEWARE!!!! I purchased a certified used 2013 Outback in February 2016 and while I love the vehicle, I very much regret purchasing the car here. BUYER BEWARE!!!! I purchased a certified used 2013 Outback in February 2016 and while I love the vehicle, I very much regret purchasing the car here. The process of selecting a car was the ONLY part of this process which was acceptable or pleasant. I purchased a Service Contract as well as a "Gold" warranty from the finance rep who completed the sale. During his pitch for both of these things, he completely misrepresented about the benefits offered for my vehicle. He stated the coverage was much better than it actually was due to the mileage of my specific vehicle. Once I took my car for the first service, I learned the truth about the coverage, that it didn't cover any large interval services at all, only oil changes. When I contacted the same Finance Rep to cancel the contract, he promised it would not be an issue. Several months passed and I never heard or saw anything further. I contacted Shortline once again and they had no record of my cancel request and the Finance Rep who helped me had since lost his job. I once again requested that they cancel my service contract but this time I was told they would have to request permission from a manager to back date the cancel and that I may not get all my money back. Fast forward to now, it looks like they never canceled by Service Contract but canceled my warranty instead. I have still never been contacted by anyone at this company to follow up. I have to reach out to them and explain everything from the very beginning every single time I call. This is literally the worst service I have ever gotten on a large purchase in my life. After calling for the 5th time about the same issue, a Finance Manager interrupted me repeatedly and eventually hung up on me. On top of all of this, the Service Department is worthless. They didn't test issues I specifically requested they look at. They over filled the oil when I got my oil changed there. Top to bottom, this company is not concerned with providing a good experience to their customers. They do not follow up on important issues. The service dept. will not diagnose issues you ask them to look at and they are sloppy with their work. Unacceptable. I am currently in the process of reporting this issue to the Colorado Auto Dealer Board since I had a manager hang up on me and is obviously unwilling to help. More
