Great car buying experience I was looking for a new SUV, and I narrowed my search to 2 SUVs, and one was a Subaru Outback. I wanted to get a good price, so I used USAA Buying Se I was looking for a new SUV, and I narrowed my search to 2 SUVs, and one was a Subaru Outback. I wanted to get a good price, so I used USAA Buying Services, which sent leads to multiple dealerships. David Cardwell responded by email within minutes, and provided a link to review the inventory at Shortline Subaru. I called David, he quoted me a good price on the Outback that I wanted, and followed up with an email to confirm that price. That was sufficient for me to make a down payment on a credit card (by phone) for him to hold that Outback for me. I went to the dealership 2 days later to finalize the purchase. The Outback was ready when I arrived, and it took about 3 hours to complete the purchase. We also worked with Sam Hill, the Finance Manager, to finance the SUV. Both David and Sam were professional and knowledgeable. There were no surprises. After the paperwork was completed, David did a good job showing us how all the features worked in the Outback that we purchased. I felt that this car buying experience was as good as it could be.
