I called Schomp Honda Service because my 2019 CRV had suddenly braked, without warning, coming to a sudden stop while I was driving approximately 40 mph. I was on good pavement, great weather, no road ob suddenly braked, without warning, coming to a sudden stop while I was driving approximately 40 mph. I was on good pavement, great weather, no road obstructions, constructions, or metal plates in the road etc. No cars in front of me. The oncoming traffic was separated by a median. I called Schomp and was given a 9am appointment for the following day, which I appreciated. Upon arrival, I was assigned to Jarrod W. He could not have been more condescending and argumentative. He immediately dismissed the seriousness of my concern. I showed him that Honda had recalls of later model years for this same problem, and the NTSB was investigating whether earlier CRV years should be included in the existing recall of later year models. He denied that any recalls were in place for any years for this problem, even after I showed him information on the internet about the recalls and investigation He indicated it would be over an hour or more before anyone could look at my vehicle despite my having an appointment. I told him I had an appointment, and his response was that all the vehicles had appointments, indicating that an appointment is meaningless. He said it could take all day, and if the diagnostic found nothing, I would be charged $200. I reiterated that I did not feel safe driving a vehicle that could come to a sudden complete stop. I asked him if he would feel safe driving it, and of course he said yes. It was an uncomfortable confrontational experience. I felt demeaned and insulted. The fact that they over book appointments and are chronically behind should not be taken out on the customer. I have totally lost confidence in the Schomp Honda Service department. If this does not get corrected, I will sell this car and get a Toyota. More
I'm doing a follow-up review. I had a better experience and I want to honor what Schomp Honda did to rectify a bad situation. First I felt that the representative I worked with in I had a better experience and I want to honor what Schomp Honda did to rectify a bad situation. First I felt that the representative I worked with in March tried to scam me into way more work than I did. I got a call from the manager Byron who wanted to make things right and get his eyes on my car. He then put me with Jarod for a free oil change as an olive branch. The car didn't need nearly as much work as was reported in March. All this to say, they have a speedy service, and the team works hard to check the engine thoroughly. I felt Jarod was professional and kind. I'm also thankful to Byron for helping repair this. They have a wonderful waiting room, and did the service very quickly. More
I took my 2019 CRV in to have the transmission fluid replaced. Jarrod performed his usual thorough inspection and found several other items which I deferred until my next scheduled Schomp visit. I refused and said I'd return when the back-ordered part was in stock. I came back in to fix my door, and they informed me that I needed a new alternator because a spool valve was leaking on it. They claimed it needed jumping twice, and that if I didn't replace the alternator, and a new battery for $2,000 They said "I may be in a worse situation, likely a tow to the nearest shop" Since I hadn't needed to jump my car recently I felt this was shady. It was weird to me they didn't immediately bring me my car but took it back into the shop before returning it to me after I paid. Against their recommendation, I left and immediately took it to Brakes Plus nearby. Breaks Plus informed me the battery was at 86% life and the alternate was bone dry. Confirming I was being scammed, not once but twice. Do not get your Honda serviced here. you'll end up buying more than what you need. More

The mechanic torked the key to the point it came out but broke the ignition switch. Now key registers it is in the vehicle and I can't remote lock car or use fob features. I came back in and was charged over $200 to be told what I already knew. Not the best service I ever received period. More

We purchased tires from this dealership with the enticement of a rebate and free rotations. After we paid for the tires, they told us they don’t do free rotations, that the salesperson misspoke. T enticement of a rebate and free rotations. After we paid for the tires, they told us they don’t do free rotations, that the salesperson misspoke. Then they promised multiple times to send us the form necessary to claim the rebate but we never received such. After being strung along for several weeks, they told us the rebate had to be claimed on-line (which was never explained to us despite several subsequent conversations) but by then it was too late. Service is excellent. They pay great attention to detail and make sure my car was up to standard before I drove it away. They pay great attention to detail and make sure my car was up to standard before I drove it away. More
Was told my Element needed almost $1,700 worth of work which included replacing an O2 sensor and the brake master cylinder because it was cracked and leaking. Feeling like the price was too high, I took m which included replacing an O2 sensor and the brake master cylinder because it was cracked and leaking. Feeling like the price was too high, I took my car to another mechanic for a 2nd opinion. The result? There was nothing, NOTHING wrong with my brake master cylinder. The mechanic said all Schomp had to do was remove and/or clean the part and they would have seen that it was fine. So Schomp was prepared to charge me over $700 for a part I didn't even need simply because they're lazy and greedy. Avoid like the plague!!! More
