We bought a brand new 2023 X1 from this "Award Winning Dealership" and the driver's door had been badly scratched at the dealership, so the dealer agreed to repair it at no charge. Once we could finally Dealership" and the driver's door had been badly scratched at the dealership, so the dealer agreed to repair it at no charge. Once we could finally pick up the car, it was returned in filthy condition with sanding and polishing dust all over the inside and outside. The service manager apologized, would not clean it because they were "too busy" and promised a full detail in the future. Now, six months later we book an oil change online and call to confirm the detail appointment. This is confirmed both online and in person with a loaner car reserved. We live a 2 hour drive away in the mountains. We schedule many other appointments when we come to the city. We arrived this morning and were told they had given our loaner car to someone else, so no loaner car for us. This was inexcusable for a booked and twice confirmed appointment. Furthermore, they told us about a "double clutch" recall that would require a second trip to Denver. Why didn't they notify us about the recall when we spoke with their service department to confirm our appointment? Then the service advisor could not tell us when Schomp BMW would have the parts for the recall. They could not tell us when they would have a loaner car available. They screwed up our whole schedule. We, and our family, and our family's family will never go back to Schomp for service, which means never to purchase vehicles there again. A certain dealership on S. Colorado Blvd. will get ALL of our business for both MB and BMW. How disappointing to receive such consistently poor service. More
Never again would I trust Kyle Richmond with my BMW M5 Comp or any car I'll ever own. Be careful. He speaks words that sound good... that is all they are... words. He had an opportunity to correct a ve Comp or any car I'll ever own. Be careful. He speaks words that sound good... that is all they are... words. He had an opportunity to correct a very poor experience and requested to do so as he found fault with his technicians performance, unnecessary recommendations, and ability to follow procedures citing how important it was to him to correct this situation. I was cautious/hesitant/weary about agreeing but eventually I did agree to bring the car back in so he could address the shortcomings of his team. The guy sits in his office looking at me while I've waited another 45 minutes for a loaner when he confirmed the day and time I'd be coming back in (which was the very next morning from when we had the conversation). Never did he come out to say one word. I ended up leaving as he made it clear to me that his actions do not match his words and I do not and will not trust this person having anything to do with my vehicle. The GM is a true professional who I trust but, unfortunately, Kyle runs the service department... who I do not. It matters who you trust with your assets... Kyle is not the guy. More

Took my X3 in for a vibration in the hvac. Turned out there was a rodent that tried to make a nest in there…that was all fine and I assumed the blower would need replaced based on the symptoms Turned out there was a rodent that tried to make a nest in there…that was all fine and I assumed the blower would need replaced based on the symptoms. While in the shop the tech did a “complimentary” inspection, apparently my car needed strut bars, engine mounts and ball joints. OK, it’s 7 years old and has about 60k miles, I didn’t question and spent $5k fixing. Picked it up and immediately found that it didnt drive quite right. Felt all squirrely and pulling hard to the right. Took it back in thinking they didn’t get the alignment done right and hoping it would be an easy fix. Nope. Apparently in the less than 100 miles of driving it since picking it up my CV axle went bad. The tech said it wasn’t that way when he looked at it the week before and I needed to pay about $3k to replace it. Hmmm…sounding a bit fishy now. Had another mechanic that works on BMW assess the situation and it appears the work I had done previously is the cause of the leaking cv boot. Coincidence? Probably not. Either the tech isn’t as “master certified” as he states or it’s done on purpose to create more business. Shady business practices here and I will never return. More
I bought a 2022 x5 45e brand new at Schomp BMW. It cost 80k. A year and a half later and with the vehicle only having 13k miles on it, the passenger seat electrical panel fell apart. You can see t It cost 80k. A year and a half later and with the vehicle only having 13k miles on it, the passenger seat electrical panel fell apart. You can see that the corner screw that holds the seat controls in place broke off. This screw is under an interior seat panel that isn't exposed. Schomp's service dept and manager (Kyle) told me that it isn't covered under warranty because their opinion is when the corner breaks off like that it's due to stress. They said to repair it would cost 1K. I have no idea how it broke, but the piece that broke is within the interior of the seat. The car has 13k miles on it and is 1.5 years old, So based on their opinion of what may or may not have broken it they don't have to honor a brand new vehicle's warranty. I would also love to add that I weigh 200lbs and my wife weighs 140 lbs. So if that's too much weight for their seat to handle, I would argue that it's a defective product. I would NEVER give this dealership another dime. Their ratings on here are vey low for a reason. More

Booked an appointment with this dealer on line to have a X7 fitted with snow tires. Having worked with this dealership many times over the years booking the appointment and obtaining the quote and appointme X7 fitted with snow tires. Having worked with this dealership many times over the years booking the appointment and obtaining the quote and appointment were easy. During the past 20+ years the service received here has always been very good. The appointment was set 2.5 weeks earlier, enough to give them time to secure the tires, and the price quoted was competitive. My experience at the dealership was much different this time. From the time I arrived at the dealer for the appointment on time until it was time to pay and depart was over 4 hours. The service team told me it would take a little more that’s 2 hours for them to complete the service so I decided to wait, my mistake. The invoiced price for tires and installation was $1000 more than the online quote. And many of the items were included in their original quote, of which the service writer should have known and read on their quote. After discussing this with the service writer it was adjusted down, but not to the original quote. The excuse was this was what his management was offering. He was apologetic but that was the best they could provide. On top of that the car was not washed or vacuumed, one would think that would be done during the 4+ hours. While there was plenty of time to walk the lot and shop for a future purchase, based on this experience there are other dealers where service might be better. Nice facility & nice people, unfortunately this experience was Very Disappointing! More
We had a our BMW serviced for tires, struts and wheels at Schomp BMW on 9-1-22. The experience was very frustrating due to lack of communication, missed commitments, pricing and not saving parts that we req Schomp BMW on 9-1-22. The experience was very frustrating due to lack of communication, missed commitments, pricing and not saving parts that we requested. We did come to a resolution after our insurance company negotiated some lower pricing. After ten months of a loud continual rattle we finally took the car to another BMW dealer where upon, they discovered one of the circular compression tool rings lodged around our right strut (wondering how dangerous this was!!!!!). I have been trying to have Kyle R the service manager, return may call to communicate the issue as well as to ask for compensation for my $650 + cost for the other dealer to correct Schomp's shoddy workmanship. On August 10 I was scheduled for an appointment at 1 PM and attempted to drop off my vehicle at 10 AM. I was greeted by an employee who looked up my appointment and said Mike Gibson was my service advisor and attempted to drop off my vehicle at 10 AM. I was greeted by an employee who looked up my appointment and said Mike Gibson was my service advisor and he would let him know that I had arrived. After a few minutes the greeter returned and said he would remind Mike that I was still waiting to discuss the issue with the vehicle since the rear differential was resealed back in March 2023. The Greeter then came back with an afterhours drop-off envelope and asked me to fill out the information and Mike would contact me later, I asked for Mike's email address so I could forward my warranty information and the Greeter returned and said Mike didn't have an email address. At this point I was very frustrated and walked to Mike's desk when he began waving his finger at me and said he was too busy to help me and to fill out the requested information. I told Mike I wanted to give him my warranty information (warranty was purchased at Schomp) because it doesn't seem to be recorded in your system and I am trying to save everybody time. Mike said that he didn't have time, he was helping 3 customers who were in the waiting room at which point I requested to talk to a Supervisor and Mike said that wasn't necessary. At this point I was upset and found 3 Supervisors in an office; one gentleman offered to help me but only after he was finished with another customer. After already waiting a considerable amount of time I needed to leave for a meeting and told the Supervisor that I was leaving and would find another BMW dealership to service my vehicle. More
