Living hours from the nearest BMW dealer, I happened to be in Denver one weekend and visited Schomp BMW where I saw a car that caught my attention. After returning home and giving it some more thought I h be in Denver one weekend and visited Schomp BMW where I saw a car that caught my attention. After returning home and giving it some more thought I had some questions so I contacted the dealership. They answered my questions promptly and really helped me determine that this was indeed the car I was looking for. They asked me the right questions to ensure it was a good match. Once I decided, I still had the distance hurdle to contend with and they made buying remotely a breeze. Their professionalism and making sure I made the right decision were greatly appreciated! More
I have had my BMW in for service many times and Mike was the kindest most patient service advisor I have ever worked with, I needed to check with my husband on some of the repairs and he did not pressure me the kindest most patient service advisor I have ever worked with, I needed to check with my husband on some of the repairs and he did not pressure me for an answer, seemed like he fully understood that I didn't know much about car care and explained the details in a way I was able to understand. Next time, I will ask for him personally to be my service advisor. More
We were just in there for an oil change and browsed your lot while we were waiting. Everything went smoothly as it always has. My opinion of Schomp Mini Service has been turned around 180 degrees from where it was 4 months ago. 4 months ago I reported that the window tint installed on my car when I took new delivery (1 year earlier 180 degrees from where it was 4 months ago. 4 months ago I reported that the window tint installed on my car when I took new delivery (1 year earlier) was really looking poor. The appearance had become one of dirty hazy windows when looking from the inside out. After two trips from Westminster to the shop, I was eventually told that nothing was going to be done, because there was no apparent issues with the quality and/or workmanship. I knew from experience, and watching these particular windows deteriorate, that this was a wrong assessment. I became upset, and dismissed all trust in my favorite dealership (you) from that point on. I even vowed I would never return to Schomp MINI for anything, once a special warranty part arrived and was installed. 4 months passed, along with a few attempts to find out when a warranty part was ever going to arrive in order to get it installed and be on my way to separation from Schomp MINI. Well, in early February, I spoke with Robert to offer up a deal regarding my warranty part. The part was in, but was still missing an attaching push in rivet retainer. I asked Robert if I could come in, have the part replaced (side of seat plastic cover), and they could use one out of a variety of rivet retainers I went out on my own and located to be used. It was during this conversation that Robert asked me if I still had the tint on my windows that was originally installed when I took delivery. I told him I did, and that I hadn't been able to get to a 3rd party 3M dealer to get a second opinion on the tint material. Robert then told me, that as a result of a meeting, it was decided to re-tint my MINI and wanted to know when I could bring it in to have it done and get my warranty part installed. Needless to say, I was very pleased to know my particular issue was not forgotten about, and reconsideration was given to my problem. And I cannot begin to tell you how pleased I am that my confidence, trust, and admiration for your service center has been rekindled. One might think I was asking for a lot...I wasn't. I merely had an issue with something I paid good money for, and it's appearance was unacceptable. This appearance was not there when I took delivery in Oct 09, it manifested itself over a period of a year...in my opinion an issue regarding the material itself. Robert himself seen the poor appearance, yet I know he was "instructed" to tell me there was nothing wrong with it. The issue could've been left as it was, accepting the fact that just one customer would never return. But you didn't, and it re-established my faith that customer satisfaction is of high priority. The atmosphere and friendliness at Schomp BMW are outstanding. We were looking for a pre-owned BMW Z3. The no-haggle pricing and negotiation were truly just that. After driving the vehicle our sale outstanding. We were looking for a pre-owned BMW Z3. The no-haggle pricing and negotiation were truly just that. After driving the vehicle our sales consultant worked with us to cover our financing options and make a final decision. At every step we were encouraged to take the time we needed, even if we wanted to take the car to lunch to discuss our options. Once we agreed on the financing Robb started the paperwork. There was no 'let me check with my manager' on anything. Robb had authority. It was by far the least stressful car purchase I have ever made. While Robb finished the paperwork, we sat and enjoyed coffee in the waiting area. This was truly an outstanding customer oriented exeperience. More
I purchased a Certified Pre-Owned 2008 BMW 328xi from this dealership. I live approximately 95 miles away and drove to Littleton to look at a specific car that I had found online. I did my homework and this dealership. I live approximately 95 miles away and drove to Littleton to look at a specific car that I had found online. I did my homework and I knew what the car was worth going in. I had been in touch with one of their salespeople by phone and email for a few days before I went. When I got there he was with another customer, but another very helpful and knowledgeable salesperson, Dave Dewey, took over for him without keeping me waiting. Personally, I am O.K. with the no-haggle policy. Automobile dealers sell cars at retail -- duh. Schomp prices their cars at 95% of market value based on local surveys. I got the car that I want, which I absolutely love, and the staff spent a tremendous amount of time answering all of my detailed questions about service plan options, financing, worked through alternatives to explore trade-offs between taking advantage of various factory incentives, etc. Once the paperwork was in process, they set me up with their delivery specialist, an absolutely lovely young woman named Corrie Nave. Being a first-time BMW owner, a number of things were unfamiliar to me. She spent a good hour going over all of the electronics and various features in detail. I happen to be someone who gets along well with technology, but Corrie must have the patience of a saint to go through this with each customer. There is really a lot to learn with one of these cars. The experience that motivated me to write this review was post-sale. My experience with car salesmen in the past is that once you sign on the dotted line, you are passed off to the service department, end-of story. However, when I called the dealership back to ask about iPod/iPhone support in the sound system, they transferred me right back to Dave. He did not know the answer to my question, but through the parts department determined that there is a $100 adapter from BMW that is needed. I fully understand that used cars are sold as-is, and I was not particularly upset that I would have to purchase this accessory to make the iPod feature work. I figured I would track one down locally or on eBay. Instead, after I hung up with the parts department, Dave rang me back on the phone I called from to make sure I had what I needed. When I told him that I would need to buy this adapter, rather than offering to make a couple of bucks on the accessory sale he immediately said he would drop one in the mail to me, gratis. In customer service, it is these little things that make all of the difference. Since I do not live in the Denver area, it is unlikely that I will return to Schomp for service or anything else in the foreseeable future. Still, I wanted to post this because people so seldom report positive experiences or opinions. Reading other reviews I can see how attached many people are to the tradition of haggling over car prices. This is my first no-haggle purchase. It took three hours, start to finish. The car is in absolutely perfect condition and is running flawlessly. I think that as consumers we have to ask the question, "If the dealer has what we want, ready to go, at a fair price with great service, why do we want to sit and argue all day?" My time has a value as well, and I am glad to have skipped the back-and-forth B.S. It is a a game where the dealer holds all of the cards anyway, so why not go to a dealer that doesn't play that particular game? Just do your homework before you go in and decide if the published price is fair. If not, simply take your business elsewhere! More
