The dealership is up-front on the negotiated sale price and competitive with other dealers in the surrounding region on my trade-in. Quick and painless...my salesman did all his homework, paperwork, and prep work before I arrived. They really focused on the joy and excitement buying a new car should be...rather than the usual dread and agony of grinding out your car deal late into an evening. I'm hoping the service drive provides the same level of service. More

Just a quick note to say what a positive experience I have had on the two most recent visits to Schomp BMW. I recently purchased a BMW from another state (not a BMW dealer) and have brought the car to Sc have had on the two most recent visits to Schomp BMW. I recently purchased a BMW from another state (not a BMW dealer) and have brought the car to Schomp for several things already. 1. Lug Nuts and windshield wiper blades 2. Assistance with the blue tooth 3. Issue with dash warning lights The parts department guys were very friendly and helpful with getting me what I needed, as well as providing a price list of other parts that I thought I might purchase. During this strip, a service tech was extremely helpful with obtaining the bluetooth connection code for the car and pairing my phone. I also had to leave the car with them due to warning lights on the dash indicating that there was a problem with the brakes. It turns out that it was due to a malfunction resulting from the DSC not being turned off during an emissions test. The computer was re-set and all is well. The best part was when Ricky presented the final paperwork indicating that they had done an inspection, changed the oil, and replaced the wiper blades. I was quite shocked as I did not request this. It turns out that the vehicle has approximately 15 more months left on the extended service plan! This was news to me and made my day! I am not sure why Ricky went ahead and had them change the oil and do the other stuff, but it was extremely appreciated. Now, if I can only get them to replace my rusted rotors, that would be even better! Should I decide to purchase another BMW after this one, rest assured, Schomp is the place I will go! More
We just purchased our first new BMW from Paul Lim at Schomp BMW. The car was a special order and Paul was great in helping us in every step along the way. We first considered a vehicle on the lot but deliberated between it and ordering the car with the options we wanted. Paul could have easily tried to sweeten the deal to push us into purchasing the vehicle they had which was actually more expensive, but made sure we had and took the time to make a decision we would be happy with. He was helpful and communicative along the way, however, the most impressive and surprising part of the entire process was when the car arrived. By far this was the easiest and most stress-free car buying experience I have ever had. There were no hidden costs, agendas, or additional sales pitches. The staff was friendly, helpful, and they went above and beyond to make the purchasing of our new car what it should be: enjoyable rather than stressful and full of distrust. Paul and the Schomp team not only earned our trust and recommendation, but most likely our future business by cultivating a relationship rather than trying to squeeze a bit more out of us on a one time deal. After more than a half-dozen trips in 4 months to the service department for the same reasons in the San Diego area (Encinitas BMW), we took our X-5 in once again, but this time to Schomp BMW, after just service department for the same reasons in the San Diego area (Encinitas BMW), we took our X-5 in once again, but this time to Schomp BMW, after just relocating to Colorado. Again this was for the same issues we have had since buying the vehicle in late 2010. We were so frustrated at this point that we were just about to drive the vehicle through the show-room window and throw the keys at someone and tell them to take it back. But we gave Schomp a chance to correct it and they have gone a long way in winning us back as BMW customers. I drive an X-6 and my wife came out of a 3-series when we bought this X-5, so I consider us good BMW customers and we're not looking for free repair. During this period of Encinitas not correcting our problem, the vehicle fell out of manufacturers warranty, and the Certified warranty did not cover this issue that was finally corrected by Schomp. But Ricky Stegmaier, Service Advisor, did a ton of research on the past service appointments and saw that this should have been repaired and covered. And he went to bat to get this covered as it should be. But he took ownership and did what was right, and in doing so, he probably saved this relationship with BMW and brought future business in for Schomp. I know it takes a team so there were others involved, but Ricky took ownership and communicated with us the whole way. I don't usually spend the time out my busy schedule to acknowledge things like this, but this was called for as you don't get great service these days at most places. Ricky was fantastic. Thanks again, Ricky! More
