I have gotten 3 BMW (1 used, 2 special orders) vehicles over the last 8 yrs from Ralph-Schomp of Highlands Ranch. Brian Neal took care of all 3 sales for me he couldn't have been more knowledgeable or prof over the last 8 yrs from Ralph-Schomp of Highlands Ranch. Brian Neal took care of all 3 sales for me he couldn't have been more knowledgeable or professional or friendly. He always kept me up to date on delivery schedules. Mike is the best service rep that I've ever had. He consistently provides courteous, reliable and quick response to my service needs. Patricia is the consummate ambassador for the service area. She has helped me innumberable times with finding a service rep or a mechanic if my vehicle is in need of service & a service rep is unavailable. She is a key factor in my utilizing this dealership for my BMW service requirements. Chad is my mechanic & he is very meticulous with trouble shooting & general service. Josh has always been very courteous & friendly in setting me up with a loaner vehicle. He makes customers feel at home. More
Over the last 4 years, my family and I have purchased 4 vehicles through Paul Lim. We have followed him from Lexus, to Audi and now Schomp BMW. We always recommend him to all of our friends and family. As vehicles through Paul Lim. We have followed him from Lexus, to Audi and now Schomp BMW. We always recommend him to all of our friends and family. As a result of our recommendation, our neighbor purchased a car through Paul, and was also very pleased with their car purchasing experience. Paul is very professional and knowledgeable, extremely service oriented and a true pleasure to work with. In the past, I have dealt with Murray Motors, Schomp BMW's competitor, and found that overtime, it became an ongoing frustrating experience trying to resolve car issues with Murray Motors as there was a general lack of urgency when it came to customer satisfaction. I must say, because of all the reasons I mentioned above, it has been a wonderful experience working with Schomp BMW compared to Murray Motors. I can honestly say this is because of Paul Lim and his professional and courteous attitude and his focus on customer satisfaction. I highly recommend Paul Lim and Schomp BMW. More
This review is for the sales department and can be best summed up with "Bait and Switch". I contacted Schomp on-line about a car they had on their website (and is still listed today). Travis replied to summed up with "Bait and Switch". I contacted Schomp on-line about a car they had on their website (and is still listed today). Travis replied to my email and I told him that I would be down the following Saturday to test drive the car. He told me he would check in midweek and make sure that was still the plan and confirm the car was still available. I tried to reply to his email 3 times to let him know I would be down earlier in the week and they kept bouncing back. As the car was still on-line I made the (incorrect) assumption it was available. After driving over an hour to get down there we asked for Travis and waited about 10 minutes. We were offered a beverage which never materialized. Finally, Travis comes out and says he is with another customer and his "mentor" would help us out. Another 5 minutes goes by and he brings out another sales guy named Mike who is not his mentor but a "good guy". I tell him exactly what car I wanted to drive - year, model, color. He asks if I can give him the stock number as well - um, well, no. I figured you only had on 2009 328i xdrive in Tasman Green. Mike comes back 10 minutes later and asks me if it was a 328 or 335; I said I was pretty sure it was a 328 but Travis had my info and could confirm. We sat for another 25 minutes before they could find the keys. The excuse - "we have a lot of cars on the lot". One hour, one price, one person? We had already been there almost an hour and were still waiting to see the car! Did I mention that the staff outnumbered the customers by about six to one (from what we saw). We finally get in the car and I knew right away it was not the car I had come in to see. Mike assured me this was the only one they had in Tasman Green. The model # was wrong and the car had options different than what I wanted. But, we humored him. As we drove around Mike could not even answer basic questions about the car. Things like the price. Hmmmm. We finally stopped asking questions. We got back and Mike took us into his office to talk about the car. I told him this was not the one I wanted - could he please look for the one I had actually come to see? He looks on-line - car is still on their site but they sold it early in the week. Apparently (according to Mike), the IT team was a bit slow in taking it down due to their "volume". Gee, the humane society can update their available animals real time based on adoptions, and you cannot remove one car that sold 4 days ago from your site? The car that I drove was $6K more than the one I had come to see and had options I did not want. Mike proceeded to try to "sell me" on a different car that was not even close to what I was looking for. If I am spending $30 - 35K on a used car, you can bet I am not going to settle for something I don't want. We finally just left with the parting words of "Think about the white one. It is a great deal" (after I was clear I do not like white cars!). Really, do you think I will waste another two hours to drive here and back to give you business? You cannot update your site, Travis did not do the promised follow up, I wasted an entire night driving there and getting put in a car I did not want as an "up sell" and then brushed off when I told him I did not want the crappy one he thought was a "good second choice"? Mike knew the car I wanted was not available when he told me he was looking for the keys - they had 10 cars in their 2009 inventory. Not hard to see the one I had looked at was no longer one of them. Instead of being honest he put me in the closest thing they had and tried to sell me on it thinking I was too dumb to know. I know what I want. Not the really expensive one with all the crap I don't need so you make more money; not a white one; not a black on black..... Never once did Mike (or Travis) offer to help me find what I wanted, or even offer an (fake) apology that we drove down from Boulder to look at a car they no longer had but could not be bothered to update their site about. Very turned off - dealership itself is a nice facility. Too bad the staff inside did not turn out the same. And, we are still waiting for our beverages..... More
As part of my buying strategy in buying a '12 535I Xdrive, I explained to Schomp that I was going to get a quote from them first, then Murray second and in the end, I would go with the best price. Du Xdrive, I explained to Schomp that I was going to get a quote from them first, then Murray second and in the end, I would go with the best price. During the process of several visits, Schomp personnell display high levels of arrogance and continuously downgraded Murray any chance they could get. It's important to be clear that every person from Schomp whom I met with downgraded Murray. I continously heard from them that Murray had hidden fees, and they could not come anywhere close to the pricing that Schomp could provide. Instead of focusing on their strengths, they made every effort to try and level the playing field by bashing their competition. It really turned me off. In the last stage of the quote process, I met with Paul Lim in Finance. This was by far the worst part of my experience. There were several high pressure attempts by him to close the deal instead of allowing me to pursue of the process of getting a quote from Murray. Each time he tried to close the deal and prvent me from getting another quote, he told me that I would be wasting my time and his (yes, he said that) by going to Murray. I perceived this as extreme arrogance on his part. He continously said that Murray couldn't compete: that they hidden fees, etc. Additionally, I was told by him that I would have to go with BMW's higher than market rate interest rate to obtain the Conquest $1,000 discount. This was not conveyed to me during any of previous visits I had with them. I could not find anyting on BMW's sites that linked the Conquest discount with the higher BMW financing. When I asked for a lower interest rate, Paul took the Conquest discount away. I went to Murray the following weekend. They readily beat Schomp's price by more than $1,000. There were no hidden fees. Additionally, they provided me a significantly lower fiancing rate with a local bank. Not once did they mention anything about Schomp. I recognize both Lloyd and Ben at Murray as the 2 most professional Sales associates I have ever worked with. My buying experience at Murray was perfect. I would suggest that you take the same approach. Get a quote from Schomp, then take it to Murray. More
Schomp Automotive/BMW works hard to establish and maintain the highest standards of customer satisfaction. My sales experience exceeded expectations: the sales manager, Paul Lim, is candid, respectfu maintain the highest standards of customer satisfaction. My sales experience exceeded expectations: the sales manager, Paul Lim, is candid, respectful and highly dependable. The post-sales experience also exceeded my expectations. I was contacted within days of purchase to determine complete satisfaction. I was afforded every opportunity to express any concerns. This dealership is on top of their game and makes it clear that it intends to maintain this position. Highly recommended. More

We had a great experience buying and trading at SCHOMP BMW. Justin Albrecht was patient, honest and most of all upfront (as is the business motto at any Schomp dealership) about the price of the vehicle a BMW. Justin Albrecht was patient, honest and most of all upfront (as is the business motto at any Schomp dealership) about the price of the vehicle and the value of our trade in. It was a relaxing car buying experience and that is the one thing I am raving about. There was absolutely no pressure from him or any of his colleagues, quite the opposite. After buying the vehicle we received a follow up call that same evening from a manager to make sure we had a satisfying experience. The car needed a minor repair and again this was handled very well. Both Justin Albrecht and Andrew (from the service center) did everything possible to make this great experience. And this all for a vehicle that is not a BMW. So they treat every single customer with care regardless of what they are buying. We will definitely buy our next vehicle at Schomp BMW and if possible (depending on when we need a new vehicle) we will work with Justin again. More
If you want a BMW, go to this dealership, ask for Paul Lim. By far the best car purchase experience ever (and I pride myself on negotiating on purchase price, trade in, and every aspect of purchase).... B Lim. By far the best car purchase experience ever (and I pride myself on negotiating on purchase price, trade in, and every aspect of purchase).... But the beautiful thing about the way this dealership is set up is they are a high volume dealer with exceptionally customer oriented staff..and they will go to almost any length to win you as a customer; think this is too good to be true..go to Schomp first and specifically ask to talk with Paul Lim who over and over again has contacted me to extend exceptional courtesies and it has only been 3 days since I purchased my certified 328ix. Here are examples, Paul let me drive any car. I kept changing my mind about what I wanted- no problem, no pressure...I just want you to be pleased. Paul explained why some cars were better values..really valuable discussion. Three managers, Denis, Kevin and Jill, stopped in just to say hi and extend sincere thanks for coming in. After purchase, Corrie spent an hour going through every aspect of the car-this is a preowned car-that ever happen to you? As I stepped out Jeff Edgell, again thanked me for coming to them and explained to me how the Schomp family revolutionized and professionalized this whole process 18 years ago; naturally it took a bright woman with ethics to change how this process should be done. This is only a small sample of all of the specific actions they took to save money-you will have to go in and talk to Paul Lim to find out how exceptional they are. More
Schomp BMW completely redeemed the negative experiences I've had with other dealerships in the past. I found a 335xi I wanted on their website and walked in asking specifically after that vehicle. Paul in I've had with other dealerships in the past. I found a 335xi I wanted on their website and walked in asking specifically after that vehicle. Paul in sales did not try to talk me into anything else; he simply let me drive the car, we discussed my trade-in vehicle, and he got me approved for a loan with BMW Credit that evening. They were even flexible on the down payment which is great since it was two days after Christmas. I drove the car home that night, completely giddy with excitement. I went back the next day to deliver my trade-in vehicle and Paul confessed one of the technicians told him they had found a bad tie rod on my 335xi when they took it in, but hadn't had time to repair it (I purchased the car one day after it was on the lot). Paul said he wanted to make it right and scheduled for me to have the tie rod replaced and have a new alignment, all free of charge, as well as have the Service department give me a loaner vehicle for the day. I also mentioned that I'd noticed the car was missing the Owner's Manual, so he sent me down to the Delivery department where Tyler showed me and my husband all the ins and outs of the vehicle's functions and even spent some extra time helping us take off the Thule rack and talk about tie-down options for a spare tire. Everyone at the dealership has been nothing but friendly, helpful and more than willing to go the extra mile for their customers. As long as I live in Colorado, I will never buy from another dealership. More
