A fantastic experience top to bottom. No pressure, no upselling, no kidding! I've bought or leased plenty of cars in the past and this was the most relaxed and easy experience ever. The staff was top notch and Wilson took the time to identify what my wants and needs were by asking plenty of open ended questions and taking the time to listen and pair me with an amazing vehicle. No nickel and diming when it comes to pricing and in my research, I'd be hard pressed to think any other BMW dealer could do any better than begrudgingly match what Schomp offered as far as pricing goes. Their selection can't be beat either. Color? They have it. Model/Trim level? They have it. Options? You're covered. On the oft change they don't, they can get it but again, unless you are looking for something custom, you won't be disappointed in the store if you go and you can't go wrong with Wilson's guidance, knowledge and overall great disposition and desire to ensure that you'll get what you want. It's my first BMW and at this point, I'd be hard pressed to think it will be my last. Even better is knowing that all I need to do is make a phone call to Wilson and he will take care of everything. Go with him at Schomp ... you won't be disappointed! More
I flew in from out of state to make the purchase. Travis was very accommodating to my needs and really made the entire experience much easier than I expected. I had a great experience working with Michael. He took care of me even after just dealing with a death in the family. He even payed for my hotel. We have now bought 5 cars from Nick at Schomp BMW and the service and commitment to helping us get what we want is great. We have bought 2 used cars in the last 3 weeks from him. This was my first time buying a BMW. This is a professional and courteous dealership. I worked w/ Alexis who was great. They seem recognize that customers don't want a lot of hassle when buying a car. Their prices are good (used BMW prices comparable or better than C**Max). I've only had the car a few days but no problems so far. Initially, was planning on a used 5 series, but after test driving a new 2013 335xi, I changed course. I have to admit, Alexis is a good salesperson, it was her suggestion to drive the new 3-series based on what I was looking for. And while I ended up spending more money, I am much happier (I'm sure her sales manager is as well). The dealership is brand new and beautiful. It's like stepping into modern art museum full of BMWs. I've noticed that some other review sites, Y*** filters out all of the positive review for Schomp, if you read the unfiltered reviews, they are much better. Y*** has had a history of unethical practices so take their reviews with a grain of salt. G+ reviews are more in-line with what you will experience at the dealer... hope this helps. More
I have included excerpts from a letter I composed and sent to BMW USA on January 5, 2013. I received a response from them albeit "lip service". I did not receive a response from Ralph Schomp BMW. "I sche sent to BMW USA on January 5, 2013. I received a response from them albeit "lip service". I did not receive a response from Ralph Schomp BMW. "I scheduled an appointment with this dealer on January 2, 2013, my clock and data had been resetting intermittently and the tire pressure monitor system indicated low pressure in all 4 tires. I received word from the rep that the battery needed to be replaced and that they checked the TPM system and resolved the issue. I picked it up that afternoon and met friends for dinner that evening. When I returned to my car, the tire pressure monitor indicated low pressure in the front passenger tire, at that point I was not concerned until I was on the road and noticed the car was pulling to the right. When I finally located a gas station with an air pump, I noticed that the valve stem cap was missing. I would have not been concerned had it 1) been a standard factory valve cap and 2) not been in for service a few hours prior to this occurring. Cutting to the chase, the general service manager contacted me and argued about sending me a replacement. After spending 20 minutes on the phone and leaving a voice message regarding my intention to contact BMW USA, he finally relented and sent a replacement." I found their customer service to be somewhat non existent, with the exception of Patricia who attempted to resolve my issue. More
