Dishonest Sales and Service I have continually had problems with schomp every time I use them. When I bought my car through them, they had a promotion going where the first two I have continually had problems with schomp every time I use them. When I bought my car through them, they had a promotion going where the first two months of your loan were paid by BMW. After purchasing the car, they would not honor the promotion, claiming it was only for some cars, but not my car. I had to prove I was told I was eligible for the promotion through paperwork and testimony of people who were with me when I purchased the car, and had to file a complaint with the better business bureau to get them to honor the promotion. Since then I have brought my car in to be serviced a few times. This last time, after owning the car for 3 years, I discovered they did not certify the car correctly and as a result all maintenance on the vehicle has not been done properly, regardless of having the BMW maintenance plan. This error was discovered by me, after questioning why oil changes were only being done every 2 years/20000 miles which is not congruent with BMWs police, even though I had been brining my car to a BMW dealer annually. After speaking to the sales manager twice, and the service manager twice, I was able to get part of the maintnece that was owed, however I had to speak with the service manager again when picking up my car, as the service tech tried to bill me for the services. I am still working on figuring out the potential damage from the vehicle not being maintained properly, and what the effects could be in the future. It always seems to be a headache, when working with schomp and making sure they hold up their contractual responsibilities. More

Just average I am yet again disappointed with this dealership and their service. Murray Motors offers much better service but they are very hard to get to. I asked that they look at some parts an no one even bothered to look inside the bag I provided, I know because I tied the bag a certain way to see if they would even look at them. Instead they were content with telling me I needed new parts that were $350 installed. This is unacceptable that they didn't bother to check the pieces and just tried to get me to accept this advice. I had the first appointment time in the morning and still the oil change took well I would rate my experience as average with your service department. I had the first appointment time in the morning and still the oil change took well over an hour. When the car was ready, no one came and got me from the waiting room. I happen to notice my car in the parking lot and so I went to find my service rep to begin the checkout process. I had a very simple question on my bill for an oil change that the Rep could not answer. That was surprising. Not a big deal, just surprising. Overall, I felt like customer #12345 and not customer Ed Brewer. More
Awesome Experience! I had to bring my 2013 328i Convertible into Ralph Schomp to replace a seal/part on the top of my convertible roof (it had snapped during car wash). I had to bring my 2013 328i Convertible into Ralph Schomp to replace a seal/part on the top of my convertible roof (it had snapped during car wash). My Service Person was Karlie & she went above & beyond to search for an alternative to replacing the entire convertible top unit, it took awhile but Karlie was able to locate a part that saved me $$$. While I was waiting to pick up my car, I saw a newer used convertible (mine is 2013 model & my 1st BMW purchased last year from different dealer) I was interested in maybe trading up by purchasing a 2016 model. Justin was extremely helpful in helping me determine whether to buy new vs used or lease. I will use Ralph Schomp exclusively in the future for all my needs, I love the fact that the sales people are not commissioned so there was no high pressure tactics and instead of focusing on selling a vehicle, Justin asked me what I wanted to spend, vehicle use, payments etc. For me, he suggested exploring a lease instead of purchasing new or used. My annual mileage is 3,000 a year since I work from home. I have always purchased used vehicles with low mileage & leasing is something I've never considered, after Justin explained it to me, I've decided to explore that option which makes more sense for me. You would not get that type of attention or options from any other dealership that pays their salespeople commission. More
