We brought a 2019 Jetta SE on July 9, 2018. It was the first time using Schmelz Countryside VW and they are definitely one of the best car companies we have used in the past 40 years. Christine Bakken listen to and paid attention to our wishes, budget and concerns. She discussed several options and answered all of our questions. She was familiar with all the models and trims. If she did not know an answer she took the time to research it and give us correct information. She made sure when we picked up the car that we understood the "bells and whistles. She has followed up several times since we picked up the car to be sure everything was ok. Peter and Alex in the Finance Department explained details including the pros and cons of financing through VW credit without pressure to do so. More

I live in Kansas, but located a 2009 VW SEL Sportwagen online at Schmelz Countryside VW. I was immediately contacted by Christine Bakken, a sales consultant, once I expressed an interest. Christine answered all the questions I had in regard to the vehicle and even texted additional pics of the vehicle to me. Never having bought a vehicle unseen and at such great distance., Christine did a fantastic job explaining all my transport options. Once I had reached the determination that I would buy the car, Christine worked with me to make sure all necessary docs were in place for me to pick up the car. I flew up to Minneapolis and Christine even picked me up at the airport. All I can say is that when this dealership describes a car as clean - they mean it. Premised on my experience I would not hesitate to work with this dealership and Christine whether I was in the market for a new or used vehicle - highly recommend! More
