Everyone involved was friendly and professional. All my concerns and questions were answered satisfactorily. Overall, from shopping - to purchase - to delivery, a good experience. I’ve returned to purchase my second car from Fiz at Schlossman because he is an honest and kind salesperson. I was thrilled working with him again. I love my new car! Schlossman because he is an honest and kind salesperson. I was thrilled working with him again. I love my new car! More

Disrespectful, manipulative, and all around horrendous experience at Schlossmann. They don’t specialize in Subaru or positive customer service like they claim. They specialize in unscrupulous, high pressu experience at Schlossmann. They don’t specialize in Subaru or positive customer service like they claim. They specialize in unscrupulous, high pressure sales tactics that result in a rushed and outrageously overpriced sale that left us feeling swindled and emotionally drained. A VERY abbreviated run down of our regrettable experience: - Though we had made an appointment to see two specific vehicles and had EVERY intention of buying as we were from out of town - the vehicles were not prepared for our appointment, in terrible shape, and both needed to be JUMPED AND their key fob batteries replaced. - After the test drive and evaluation of each vehicle, my husband and I were trying to keep an open mind but after 5 HOURS of trying to reach a solution with the sales person, he FINALLY pulls up a vehicle that matches our wants + needs + level of quality. It was close to closing, so we were pressured and GASLIT to test drive and agree to a price we have NO recollection agreeing to. “Oh ma’am, you said you’d pay $X if we showed you this vehicle…” so what was I to do? It’s late, we have a 1.5 hour drive back home on mainly dark 2 lane highways through deer central, we have a baby at the babysitters, and we’ve already been through the ringer with trying to purchase this specific vehicle. At this point my husband and I are the only customers in the store, and are SURROUNDED by salesmen - you can see why we shook on the purchase. - We were then there for ANOTHER 2 hours finalizing the loan (we got back home around midnight) and SWINDLED into purchasing GAP + Total Loss Protection insurance that THEY KNEW we didn’t need it when purchasing a CPO Subaru as the brand provides a 7 year warrantee on CPOs automatically. They laid it on THICK on why we needed it, and since we were exhausted and naive, we agreed. - The following day after purchasing our Subaru Forrester Sport (the ONLY positive of this experience), we found a huge glop of hardened white detailing putty stuck to the carpet flooring in the back seat - which I would have noticed during our test drive as I sat in that seat and saw nothing. After several rounds of phone tag, photos sent to them of the damage, and gaslighting by them with their confusion and unawareness of the damage thus making us doubt our understanding of the situation, we discover that they KNEW the putty was left there by their detailing team while we were in the dealership finalizing our purchase and let us DRIVE AWAY with it anyway. They vandalized out vehicle and did NOTHING to rectify their mistake, but did EVERYTHING to confuse and guilt us for getting this mistake fixed. They put my family at risk due to the time off from work my husband and I needed to take to take to travel and fix THEIR mistakes, the lengthy and dangerous trips back and forth from our city to the dealership (we had to bring our 8-month-old daughter with us to drop off the vehicle with their detail shop, but due to their predictable negligence, we were there again for around 5 hours when it should have been just a drop off situation (they told my husband AFTER he arrived and I was on my way with our baby that they would provide him a loaner vehicle, so I didn’t need to drive up there, take off work, or bring my baby.) We LOVE with the vehicle, but the “team” at Schlossmann have absolutely zero integrity and will make a sale xxxx unnecessarily. Go ANYWHERE ELSE for a Subaru, you’ll get better quality and service. We joke now “We got schloshed at Schlossmann” because that’s what it absolutely felt like. More
Just got home from an intensive test drive following some comprehensive and complicated work on my Outback. I've owned cars since the mid '60's and usually used dealerships for service because of their speci comprehensive and complicated work on my Outback. I've owned cars since the mid '60's and usually used dealerships for service because of their specialized knowledge and experience. I've never seen a better service department from Hawaii to Washington, D.C. Marcus, the service writer, was especially professional and helpful, keeping me apprised of problems and solutions throughout the 3-day ordeal. I MOST HIGHLY recommend Schlossmann's for any and all service your car may need. More
Service Department SCAM Is this the kind of place you want to trust to install the breaks you rely on to take your kids to school? Is this the place you want to finish assemb Is this the kind of place you want to trust to install the breaks you rely on to take your kids to school? Is this the place you want to finish assembling your new vehicle? Do yourself and your family a favor and find a dealership you can trust. What is everyones worst fear when taking a vehicle in to be fixed? It's taking a vehicle somewhere that is dishonest and unreliable. Amir Mavrkis, my service manager still deserves five stars, but the service department cut corners and do not perform safety services inspections they claim to. After my hose replacement and "safety inspection" I pulled off the lot and my check tire pressure light came on. I immediately turned around and they were happy to check my tires "again". As I watched the technician check my tire pressure, one tire was flat and the rest incorrectly inflated after it was "checked" and marked complete on my paper work. I spoke with the manager today who told me "the tire pressure gauge could be malfunctioning" (even though every tire was off a different PSI) offered to put my car on a lift to show me the work that was done was completed, but I'm not a mechanic. This isn't a tire pressure issue, its an integrity issue! I trusted this dealership to do the work they said they would, and they lied. More
