About 1 year ago, when I was initially searching for a car, I went to Subaru City and worked briefly with Linda Czaplewski. I was about 8 months pregnant and we needed a 4-door car to bring the baby home car, I went to Subaru City and worked briefly with Linda Czaplewski. I was about 8 months pregnant and we needed a 4-door car to bring the baby home in. Linda never pressured me and gave me lots of useful information. My fiance's dad then decided to sell us his TL for cheap and I couldn't pass up the opportunity, so I did not end up purchasing a car from Linda at that time. Linda called me about 1 month later simply to see if Eleanor had been born and to see how we were. She didn't mention car shopping or anything business related in the conversation. She followed up again just after Ellie's 1st birthday to wish her a happy birthday and to check in. I was glad to say that at this point I had a full time teaching position and was definitely in the market for a second family car. Subaru City, Dodge City, and Honda City are all interconnected dealerships and Linda said she could pull stock from all 3 which was very encouraging. I was specifically searching for a Honda CR-V for kid hauling. She quickly found me a great '09 CR-V which I was surprised I could comfortably afford. This was due to Subaru City's extremely fair pricing and Linda going above and beyond to negotiate a price in my range. I honestly felt like I was car shopping with my own mom. You can tell that Linda is both a mom and previously was a nurse. She has a kindness and sensibility that makes buying from her a very relaxing experience. She cares about her customers, even someone like me who couldn't necessarily give her the "big sale." I'm confident she'll work hard for you, whether you're looking to spend $5,000 or $50,000. I had been loking for a car for a month or so and went back to see if I could find Ed wrathal who I bought 2 other cars from. Joe gianeselli helped us late on a Sat.afternoon because Ed was off. Flew in from California and only had 2 days to find a car. Called several dealers prior to my visit and Linda bent over backwards to communicate the cars she had and changed her schedule multiple times t car. I stopped in at this dealership in early-mid June, shopping for a Forester, thinking I would sell my own vehicle myself. Jim Lemke was very helpful in informing me of all the differences that each tr shopping for a Forester, thinking I would sell my own vehicle myself. Jim Lemke was very helpful in informing me of all the differences that each trim level of the Forester offered, and searching the internet for vehicles that were going to come into this dealership. We tinkered quite a bit with various options that we could put together for the car I would want to buy. In the end, he was able to make an initial proposal on an acceptable Forester, and introduced me to one of the managers. The manager made an offer to buy my vehicle on trade, however, I did not yet know what the going price for it would be, so I declined, stating that I had to look into all my options, first. Absolutely no pressure from either of them. A few weeks later, I realized that the trade-in price the manager offered was rather generous, so I decided to take them up on their offer, depending on the final price of the Forester. Eventually, we struck a deal and I traveled from Madison and bought the 2011 Forester Ltd. Although I did not need financing, I also met their finance guy who I thought was very straight forward and clear on options for an extended warranty. We talked about my driving patterns and he proposed a certain warranty option that I could not pass up. No pressure from this guy, either; the product sold itself. I would not hesitate for a second to recommend either of these guys to any of my friends in Madison when they are thinking of buying a new Subaru. I could not be happier with my dealings with Subaru City on South 27th Street in Milwaukee, WI! More
