I opted to use the online buying feature that Subaru City offered and was very promptly given information for the vehicles I was interested in. My husband and I stopped in the dealership and Mike was extremely friendly and welcoming. His knowledge of all the vehicles was extensive. There was not a question we had that Mike could not answer. We test drove four vehicles and barely had to wait at all. Mike asked what our first choice in car was and at what payment and he made it happen with several different options in our comfort zone. My husband and I never felt any pressure and once we decided to purchase, the process went quickly and smoothly. It was late in the afternoon and we were starving so Mike offered us pizza to get us through! Our purchase started toward the end of the dealership hours but we did not feel hurried or bothersome in any way. Doug in finance was also very friendly and helpful! Mike Pryor collected 3 cars for me to view in one evening. It was close to 8pm when I came to the dealership, so I was happy to eliminate one car and concentrate on the Outback and Forester. Had a good experience turning in a Jeep Wrangler I recently bought as I am taking a job a bit farther away and need the good gas mileage. The car buying experience at Subaru was TERRIBLE. I felt like I was constantly being given the run around-my salesman would call and tell me one thing and call my boyfriend and say another. I was never given a straight answer until I demanded to speak to the manager. After that my salesman had a bad attitude towards me. It took over three weeks to receive my car. The finance person wouldn't tell me what my rate would be and if I would have not seen it, I don't think he would ever have told me. I was extremely disappointed in the process and would NEVER buy a car again from this dealer. After having my car for a week or so I got a call from the dealer saying that they had my plates...but I had plates on my car so I was confused. I was given the wrong plates...thank goodness I did not get pulled over. I wish I would have taken my business elsewhere. More
