These folks are the worst I've ever dealt with! After market wheels were installed on my Camry prior to purchasing it, and were listed on the sticker as genuine Toyota wheels! I had a flat tire, and was market wheels were installed on my Camry prior to purchasing it, and were listed on the sticker as genuine Toyota wheels! I had a flat tire, and was unable to change it because no wheel lock was provided. I had to have the car towed 70 miles back to the dealership, where they were still unable to locate a wheel lock, or even tell me who had manufactured the wheels - I think they fell off the back of a truck somewhere! My car sat at the dealership for four days (I had to pay for the loaner car!!) until, by chance, a visiting mechanic happened to find a wheel lock that fit my wheels - totally a lucky break for me, as they were going to have to cut the wheels off my car to replace them. I never received any compensation for the tow, the rental car or anything - I didn't even get an apology! Then, to add insult to injury, they tried to charge me for the wheel lock key! These guys are so crooked it makes my skin crawl to think about dealing with them. More
I bought my Corolla with cash 2 years ago and I still have not received the title. Almost immediately my car started overheating or would not heat because of a water pump leak, so I had to spend a lot o have not received the title. Almost immediately my car started overheating or would not heat because of a water pump leak, so I had to spend a lot of money to fix it. They sell lemons and are dishonest (typical car dealers). Avoid them at all costs. More
These guys are crooks! Their motive is not a pleasant customer experience but rather a way to fleece them to the maximum extend possible. Spoke to the customer relations manager regarding my experience a customer experience but rather a way to fleece them to the maximum extend possible. Spoke to the customer relations manager regarding my experience and she was completely unapologetic about it (she actually said what they do was perfectly ethical!). I dont think misrepresenting MSRP is legal. I dont think making discriminatory statements is appropriate. They do not even comply with the pre-delivery service that Toyota requires (some of them that are required by LAW!). If they diverted 1% of the time they spend on thinking about conning the customer into complying with code and treating customers well, they would do much better. More
Terrible experience! They were being extremely pushy all the way. After the test drive when we asked the price, they registered all our information, and brought the manager over as if the deal has already b the way. After the test drive when we asked the price, they registered all our information, and brought the manager over as if the deal has already been finalized without telling us the price. The manager told us that the car is to be sent for certification from Corolla. I told them that the car has a couple of serious dents, and that we needed to know the price. Then he told the price, and asked us to decide right away whether we are going to buy the car TODAY. We said we need time. He lowered the price and asked us to decide right away! Even before the certification process was done! I said I need more time to think. The manager got upset and said these guys are not yet ready to buy the car. Of course we weren't. Their car was not ready to be sold! Its certification as well as refurbishment was not done. How can we say that we want to buy the car today? They kept pushing us all the time. At times, the salesperson was downright rude saying that you cannot get a powerful engine unless you shell out more cash, and that people come and spend 53K on a car all the time. We kept telling him we need time, and he kept pushing us, and speaking rudely to us. Definitely won't recommend Schaumburg Toyota to anyone. More
I was interested in buying 2007 camry for my husbnand. I had already shopped around a little so i knew not to give in to their tactics. I gave them my final price and the sales manager basically wouldn't ag had already shopped around a little so i knew not to give in to their tactics. I gave them my final price and the sales manager basically wouldn't agree to that. He wanted almost $500 more than that and then he tried telling me that if i got that price from another dealer than I shouldn't trust the other dealer. Finally, I bought it from a different for $600 less than schaumburg toyota. That dealer didn't have it in stock so he bought it from another dealer, which happened to be schaumburg totyota. It's their loss and my gain. More
Be careful of the "60 point inspection" for used cars. I was about to buy one and was told everything was perfect and it had passed inspection. I took it to my mechanic and he found a serious used cars. I was about to buy one and was told everything was perfect and it had passed inspection. I took it to my mechanic and he found a serious leak in the first 5 minutes. When I brought this to the dealers attention, they refused to fix it or discount the car. Needless to say, I passed on the purchase. Sales guy was nice enough but the manager was a bit of an ass. I suspect they knew of the leak but decided against fixing it because it was going to cost $400 to $500. He admitted as much when he said the leak wasn't a safety problem. Not saying all cars from there are bad, as always, use your best judgement. Might not be a bad use of $100 to have an independent mechanic check things out. More
I bought a used Audi ,( Ashok Nair sales man) warranty part was never explained, just after five days got a check engine light, costed me $ 1896, I called Ashok same day left him several voice messages, h part was never explained, just after five days got a check engine light, costed me $ 1896, I called Ashok same day left him several voice messages, he did not respond back so far. Finally did talk to one of your used cars manager, I do not recall his name but he was interogating me more then helping me out.Yesterday the check engine light came up again, it is going to cost me $ 345 plus tax. I figured out I was cheated. Any ways every busness has its own poilicies, but with your I would like to stay away and also try to keep as many people away from your dealership so that they are not cheated. More
Worst car buying experience ever. The classic shell game- once we got them to agree to lower the price and agree to fix some scratches (used car), tried to screw us over on the trade-in. When we told game- once we got them to agree to lower the price and agree to fix some scratches (used car), tried to screw us over on the trade-in. When we told them we decided to sell the car somewhere else, they figured they wouldn't be making much profit on us, so they tried to back out of repairing the scratches, which would only cost about $200. So we walked out, and they chased after us out the door and said they decided to fix it. We did end up buying the car there, but would not recommend to anyone based on their sleezy tactics. More
