The vehicle in question, according to the Carfax, was purchased at auction as a repo (*which was not so much of an issue...a common industry practice). However, during the test drive, we were the ones that had to point out the two repairs needed to the dealership. Both rear tire pressure monitors were both not registering, and the driver's side heat was not functioning. Also, while the Service department repaired the problems, there was a lag time involved with taking possession of the car. There was a problem in resetting or clearing out the computer code. We felt that everything should have been checked prior to the vehicle being put out on the lot. The third repair was needed at 522 miles for an internal brake booster sensor, and was covered by state law warranty. The fourth repair was needed at 1530 miles for an HVAC Blend Door Actuator, which is a common problem associated with this make of vehicle. An email was sent almost a week before the scheduled date to Sales, Service, and Parts. Luckily, the parts were in stock, and we were most grateful with the service provided. As stated above, in fairness to the dealership, this vehicle was not listed as Used Certified, and we did not purchase an Extended Warranty on our part.. It is just disappointing that this vehicle hasn't even had its first oil change yet, and we are sure you can understand our frustration. So if any suggestions were to be made, this vehicle should have had more of a closer look when it was acquired by your purchaser and/or service department. It should have been "lot " ready for a "drive and go sale".
