I needed to upgrade my windshield wipers and decided to use BMW instead of using Autozone or Amazon. Inside the Santa Monica BMW dealership, the parts associate asked me for my vin. I pulled it up and he w use BMW instead of using Autozone or Amazon. Inside the Santa Monica BMW dealership, the parts associate asked me for my vin. I pulled it up and he went in back to grab the correct part. He gave me the price of $138 including tax. That felt too expensive to me based on my initial search. I tried using the BMW app to verify this price, but didn’t want to hold up the register. I paid for the wiper blades and even installed them myself right out front of the dealership. It took 5 minutes. After I drove away, I typed in the sku# of the blades I purchased. They are currently selling the on the BMW parts website for $56. More than 100% less than I bought them for. I called back to ask them about the huge price discrepancy and basically had no answer. He said that’s the price we charge to compete, but I reminded him that the price I quoted him was from the BMW website. He stumbled on his words and didn’t have anything to add except for sorry. It’s extremely bad business practice to swindle your customers like that without indicating the up charge. I would have been completely fine if they told me ahead of time or even suggested that I buy from the BMW website, but they didn’t. More

Poor customer service at best, lack of honesty and transparency, and just all around not helpful. I've been a BMW customer for almost 20 years and I've never been treated so poorly. In addition to the lack of transparency and honesty, I experienced homophobic behavior by Sam Hafez. I was then was ignored and not at all acknowledged by Thomas Nguyen. Dellis Montell also repeated ignored my requests for help. Save yourself the headache and find a different dealer, especially if you are a woman or if you are a man who cares at all about how women are treated. Not surprising that the Yelp reviews are terrible. More
