If you are looking for an excellent deal, top notch customer service and personnel who are willing to go the extra mile, this is the place. I have personally purchased 2 vehicles from them and 2 of my family members have also purchased vehicles from them. John Bellas (sales manager) has always made himself available to answer any question myself or family members have had. Prior to buying my first NEW vehicle at Sansone's Toyota in 2006, I visited Manfredi Toyota (Staten Island) and Bay Ridge Toyota (Brooklyn). At both locations it took approx 10 minutes for a sales person to approach me and give me pricing information. The pricing information they provided me with was above and beyond what I was looking to pay for a Corolla. I then asked them if this was the best that they could do, to which the replied "yes". I picked myself up and walked out. When I walked into Sansone's Toyota, I was immediately approached by a salesman (Kwame) who was more then willing to answer all of my questions. The pricing information he provided me with was a tremendous difference from their competitors. I could not believe the difference. At this point I was introduced to the sales manager (John Bellas), who was making his rounds on the floor, I had no idea a sales manager did that. He congratulated me on my purchase and provided me with his business card. A few hours later, I drove home in my brand new car. If you are looking for a stress free new car purchase, Sansone's Toyota is the place. Take my advice.....This is the place. I have personally purchased a 2006 Corolla and 2007 Rav 4. My family members have purchased a 2008 Yaris and 2009 Rav 4. More
I just recently purchased a 2010 Silver Toyota Camry SE from Sansone Auto Mall( Toyota) and the experience I had was phenomenal. I did test drive 3 different trim of the same model cars I liked the SE. I l from Sansone Auto Mall( Toyota) and the experience I had was phenomenal. I did test drive 3 different trim of the same model cars I liked the SE. I liked the camry to begin with but Test Driving it sold us and the assistance we got from Zahid Majeed and John Grillo was great courteous. They were not pushy which I experienced in other dealerships and don’t like it at all when they come from every where and try to sell their cars. Sansone auto mall Toyota was not like that . Zahid and John did gave me time to decide what I need and there was no continually visit to manager from sales rep. vice versa to put pressure on me. They were honest with my purchase. I was able to work out a financing price that I was satisfied with and I could not believe what a painless process it was. I have bought and leased many times before and were use to having to wait HOURS at the dealer while all the paperwork was done and everything was approved. Not here. Zahid and John had it was waiting for us with a banner of Congratulations for the purchase with my name on it. They was very nice I will go back there again for my all future purchase and recommend that to everyone about that. More
First off, we brought our 2007 Scion Tc w/55k miles on it to see about trading it in for a newer Toyota Scion Tc. We were greeted by Dave F at Toyota, who initiated what we would consider possibly the WORST to see about trading it in for a newer Toyota Scion Tc. We were greeted by Dave F at Toyota, who initiated what we would consider possibly the WORST service we had ever received. Again, we informed him what we were there for, and he proceeded to show us EVERY car under the sun that was NOT what we wanted. We certainly we not looking for a older, used, higher-mileage, same price as a NEW car-car. If that is what you call customer service, then I have no choice but to feel sorry for you. I personally have NO CLUE how you stay in business. After 5 hours of wasted time, our Toyota salesman noticed our interest in the 2010 Hyundai Genesis Coupe. I had remarked about how it was too bad he didn't work for Hyundai because that would be along the lines of what my boyfriend was looking for. We test drove the Genesis, and told we would be leaving the lot shortly with our new car. After another long wait, our salesman came back and told us due to the credit score, we would have to bring $6,000 cash + our trade in which was appraised around 6K. So in order to drive off the lot, we needed a total of approx $12,000 on a $20,000 base model Genesis. Needless to say, we left and thought over what the saleman had said, and decided to return the following day and speak with Hyundai directly. We walked in, were greeted and sat down with (Brian?) Who was great. Listened to everything we said, what we wanted, etc. Talked us in to leaving a $500 deposit on the car to "hold" it while they checked w/the banks to see if they could even do anything for us. This was Friday, July 10, 2009. We were told he would receive a phone call Monday to let us know how they made out trying to get financing for the new car. After we called 3 times, and got the run around-he spoke with "Rocky", who quite honestly was incredibly rude. He told my boyfriend that there was nothing they could do, and that he would need his cc# AGAIN, to run the refund for his deposit. He then was informed that the org. sales receipt was lost. (Not very professional at ALL)- the debit card was apparently refunded-but there was no sign of any pending deposit on the online bank statement OR with the bank. When I called Rocky (which i had previously left a msg for him to call me back and of course he never did-i think 3 1/2 hours is sufficient time to return a phone call.) he got on the phone, and explained what he had told my boyfriend. Simply, he said he could not "mail my receipt" for the refund because it was "dropped in the safe". Never have I done a financial transaction where i had no record of a receipt. When I asked, I was told flat out no. I will NEVER return to your dealership, your service sucks (including repair, we've had work done there also, and no receipts ever given)...and the repairs done half-assed. It by far was the WORST experience professionally that we have ever had. More
I recently purchased a used (2008) Mazda CX-7. Not until AFTER I paid the down payment did they show me the CARFAX that showed it had a minor accident. They promised nothing was wrong with the car and they AFTER I paid the down payment did they show me the CARFAX that showed it had a minor accident. They promised nothing was wrong with the car and they had it inspected once again before i picked it up (the car is also certified pre-owned, so they say). I never received any actual papers stating it was pre-owned either. The car did not have a sunroof which was something I wanted. They offered to have one put in free of charge. What i was NOT told was that it was not under the Mazda warranty-but under the outside source that put it in. Well, it's 4 months after I first bought it and I am having problems with the sunroof. I can only take it back to them in NJ which is VERY inconvenient since I live in NY. I would have to leave work early for 2 days, PAY to rent a car plus gas/tolls. I have been in conatct with their service dept and I have been trying to contact the salesperson-which is nearly impossible. I have not yet taken it in to fix the sunroof but I can already see it being a hassle. All in all, I still love my car and they did work with me on price. However; they made the process very unsettling by not being upfront and honest about everything I was getting. As this was my first car purchase I expected to work with someone who would provide me with all info needed -not just take my money and hand over the keys. More
They are all liars. They try to lure you in to get a deposit for something they know they can't do. Good Luck to anyone dealing with them. You will really experience the SANSONE EXPERIENCE and it won't deposit for something they know they can't do. Good Luck to anyone dealing with them. You will really experience the SANSONE EXPERIENCE and it won't be fun. I have sent a letter to Paul Sansone and his GM. Lets see what happens. More
I was warned by a customer that I met at a nearby Car Dealer not to go there, but I didn't listen. The car that I saw online was supposedly sold, so the salesman showed me a comparable vehicle. I'll re Dealer not to go there, but I didn't listen. The car that I saw online was supposedly sold, so the salesman showed me a comparable vehicle. I'll refer to him as Mr. Smith since I can't recall his name. However, they could not locate the keys for said vehicle. After telling me a few times that they would have keys made and trying to get me to buy the vehicle anyway, Mr. Smith finally claimed that the other salesmen will sometimes hide the keys for vehicles that they want to save for a friend or family member. Mr. Smith's boss who I'll refer to as "the Closer" comes over and introduces himself and although his personality was nicer than Mr. Smith's , he should save his comedy for his friends. I gave my keys to Mr. Smith so that he could appraise my current car for trade-in value, and when it was all said and done they offered me 1/3 of my car's value. Although I asked, I was ignored when I asked to see the appraisal notes. Mr. Smith kept leaving me for extended periods of time to do whatever, and at one point while I stepped away into the Ladies Room he knocked on the Ladies Room door to make sure I hadn't left (LOL). Once Mr. Smith came back with the appraisal I had already had enough and I just wanted to leave. I had to ask both Mr. Smith and the Closer for my keys back 3 or 4 times, and before they gave them to me, I was finally offered my vehicle's worth, that's right, 3 times what they originally offered me. After they saw that all I was interested in doing was leaving, they finally said "oh your keys are in your car. I went outside and I could hear that my car was running, both front windows were down and the AC was on full blast. I'm buying a car very soon, but not from them. More
My husband and I purchased Suzuki Grand Vitara 2008 from them and paid in full. Salesman named Rooney up sold us the sports package and one of his pitches was that it had xm radio installed. Well, when we c them and paid in full. Salesman named Rooney up sold us the sports package and one of his pitches was that it had xm radio installed. Well, when we call XM they told us to go back to the dealership because they were unable to proceed with activation. My husband is in a military, so we had to wait for couple of months to go back there, which was frustrating. When we finally made it there the sales person Rooney, who was helping us the first time did not seem to notice us, since he found out we had a question, and possibly a problem. However, finally someone came to help us, and told us that in order to have XM service we had to purchase additional part, that would cost us an additional 400 bucks!! Wow! No one mentioned it to us when they sold us upgraded package...All of the sudden our sales person HAD to go home...at one o'clock in the afternoon. Person that was helping us suggested that we could come back in 2 days to speak to Rooney...Also he told us that he cannot give us 400 dollars just because other salesman told us we had the upgrade already. he was extremely nasty, disrespectful and abrupt with us. Please consider different dealership for your next purchase, because God forbid you have a problem there will be no one to help you, in fact not only thy will not acknowledge you, they will make you feel like they doing you a favor just by talking to you! And that is after we gave they over 25k ! We even considered purchasing another car from them today, bu they can dream on! More

I purchased the car on 3/15/08, today is 4/10/08 and I still have not received my plates. I'm still driving with the temporary printed piece of paper stating it's a license plate. Everytime I call the dealership to get a status on my plates, I get a different answer each day. Sometimes you get through to someone, and sometimes you get to know each and every voicemail box in the entire dealership. By then you will get to know everyones name. They give you this phony letter incase you get pulled over by the police. They do not believe in customer service, infact they are rude, ignorant, disrespectful, heartless, xxxxxxxx. Although you we went there with expectations and assumptions, you get treated as if you do not qualify for any car. It takes approximately eight to ten hours for you to drive out with a new car. Two hours just so you can meet with a sales representative, eventhough you have an appointment. Six to eight hours for the paper work to get processed. A very exhausting day, especially if you have a one year old. Do yourselves a favor, DO NOT WAIST YOUR TIME, MONEY, ENERGY, AND INNOCENCE. Instead waist your time and energy in finding a better dealership. More
