I had my eye on this beautiful scion and wasn't sure if I was going to be able to get it. When I sat down with Jose he assured me that he was going to do what ever it takes to get me the car I want. He truly bent over backwards and came in on his DAY OFF to make SURE I would be taken care of. I walked out that day with the car that I wanted. I wouldn't want to work with any other sales man! Jose is THE guy to go to. Absolutely 100%!!!! More

Shop Elsewhere UPDATE: So I should've known not to write the review before all the dust settled. About a month after taking home the car, I got a notice that I owe n UPDATE: So I should've known not to write the review before all the dust settled. About a month after taking home the car, I got a notice that I owe nearly $1,000 on our trade-in, when I thought all had been squared away (see below). Turns out our trade-in wasn't a trade-in, it was an early lease return, which means we still had to pay all the fees normally associated with that (about $650). Worse, the 50% of the remaining payments that we had already given to Sansone ended up not being used on our "trade-in," but instead was used as a down payment on the new car. Which means we effectively had to pay the 50% twice. There were also about $200 in other discrepancies ($114 is concrete, the rest is a sales tax issue), but frankly I don't have the time or energy to haggle with people who won't give you a straight answer. Yes, I'm kicking myself for trusting a car salesman and not asking for every single thing to be spelled out. That won't happen again. Bottom line: The transaction cost us $1,000 more than it should have, which makes Sansone just a typical car dealership. I should've known better than to think otherwise. ORIGINAL: I found Sansone using TrueCar. The person who initially contacted me never replied to my email, so I just came in and worked with Elie Alvarez. He was terrific. Willing to answer any question, get whatever documentation I asked for, ask his manager anything I wanted. He also made himself available to me via text on his off day. And I appreciated that if he didn't know the answer to something, he admitted that and went and found the answer, rather than telling me something that wasn't true. Overall, I thought Sansone was a good experience. Not happy to have to pay the $299 fee that Sansone gives to TrueCar; in my opinion, a dealer should pay it. Also not happy with having to pay for an $800 package -- mats and wheel locks -- that we didn't want. And I wish they were more flexible with the price. But they paid 50% of the payments we had remaining on our trade-in and they did honor the TrueCar discount. Also, we had a remote starter installed a week later, and Dave in the service department was tremendous. Best experience I've ever had at a dealership's service department. More

José went above and beyond the sale even offering to pick me up at my home so that I would be able to pick up my car. When I didn't receive necessary paperwork from my insurance he assured me it will be fine and provided me with another option. I was rough with him in the beginning and he still remained professional throughout the sale. I must say that Charlie worked the numbers and worked with me to get me a deal that I could not beat ANYWHERE. He honored his word and although I was patient when I changed my mind and lowered the price to suit me on the basis of my good credit. I am very grateful for his patience. It worked out. I am in a car that I love at an affordable price. More

I made it clear to Benny what I was looking for and what my budget was - he drove to Conneticut to find the auto that I wanted and made sure that I got a price that was under my budget. At no point did I feel pressured to buy an auto, which was my main concern. He guided me through the entire process and made sure that I got a deal. After I made the purchase, I realized there was a minor issue with the car and he assured it would be resolved. The experience that Benny provided actually changed my entire mindset on auto salesmen. If you are interested in purchasing a new or used auto, I would highly suggest you going to Benny! I assure that he will not disappoint you!!! More
