Worse Toyota service Department. On my way from NJ to VA Worse Toyota service Department. On my way from NJ to VA (for vacation), my Toyota Highlander (2015) showed a engine check light, while I was drivin Worse Toyota service Department. On my way from NJ to VA (for vacation), my Toyota Highlander (2015) showed a engine check light, while I was driving on NJ Turnpike. I googled and went to this dealership. When I walked in Assistant Service Manager (Alvaro “Alex” Olvera), asked me “do you have appointment?” I tried to explain him the situation that I have family in the car and we came here in emergency. His answer was “you have to wait until 6pm”. It was 9:30 am. I asked again “can you please look at the problem and if it’s safe for me to drive to another dealership with this engine light on? He again said “it will take 4-5 hours to check and it will cost you $145 for diagnostic! He was so rude and unprofessional. It made my day bad to worse. I am driving this Highlander for last 5 years and never ever have any problem. I took this to a local mechanic after talking to this rude “Alex”, and local Mechanic clear the code and said “You are ok and should not have any problem” It took him literally 3mins and he didn’t charge me anything! I hope someone from management read this review and contact me. I really don’t think this is acceptable from Toyota to deal with customer like this! More
