Worst bodyshop experience possible. Excessive delays, poor workmanship, too much to list. My 2-3 week bodyshop repair took over 2 months and still isn't what I would consider quality work. There should be no evidence of a repair and there is. No quality control. If you value the investment that your car is and want a job done right, look elsewhere. If you want poor panel fit, paint defects, leaky windshields, doors that don't latch, and missing parts; these guys are the best! More

Shady dealings??? I had a problem a couple years ago when I visited to have an oil change. Every time I took my car to the dealer, they would check the air filter and I had a problem a couple years ago when I visited to have an oil change. Every time I took my car to the dealer, they would check the air filter and several other things. I took my car and one time to have an oil change, and I was having issues With my car running correctly. they told me that my air intake hose had a tear on the underside of the hose, curving inward. My vehicle was only two years old at that point of inspection. The only way my vehicle would have had a tear in it like the one they showed me, and that I have pictures of, is if they were not correctly checking the air filter. This kind of tear happens when you take off the air filter and bend it to the side instead of detaching it from both ends. The dealership is the only place that would have done this since I wasn't taking it anywhere else other than the dealership. However, they tried to say it was wear and tear. How can it be wear and tear, when my vehicle is only two years old? I call xxxxxxxx! Then, they tried to charge me around $215.00 for the replacement of the part, when the part was only $50 and it's basically right on top of the assembly. So they're making $165 off of me, when it takes them about five minutes to replace. I deemed that a rip off. So I bought the part out right, and I replaced it myself. It literally took me five minutes with manual tools. Then, on my recent visit, they justified charging me $65 plus when they went to recharge my air conditioning. They told me there is a really bad leak in one of the hoses, and they wanted to charge me an upward of $850 for a $90 part to be replaced. Their excuse was, and I quote, "well, it's a really expensive part!" I took it to a mechanic and had the parts and labor done by a trusted mechanic for a little over $400. Sands Chevrolet... Is really just looking to make money. More
Mixed emotions I would give the Center a three-star rating because I want to learn oil change and tire rotation and they didn't rotate my tires. I was well taken care of I arrived early and was left out on the run for at least ten to fifteen mnts. Moe was the service guy that assisted me. He as well was very apologetic and made sure my car was taken care of. I will be back and will tell a friend, friends More

Repair of 2008 Avalanche My 2008 Avalanche was hit by another vehicle on 6/26/2016. I brought my Avalanche to Sands Collision Center on 6/27/2016 at approximately 2:30 pm. D My 2008 Avalanche was hit by another vehicle on 6/26/2016. I brought my Avalanche to Sands Collision Center on 6/27/2016 at approximately 2:30 pm. David Villegas took care of me and has been nothing but professional throughout the entire process. I have no complaints against the Collision Center they were all great and went out of their way to please me and help me. The problem that I had was with the Customer Service Center. I was informed on the morning of 7/22/2016 that my vehicle would be ready to be picked up at 5:00 pm. I asked if I could get picked up at home by a courtesy shuttle as I have in the past. The lady at the Collision Center checked and said I was on the list to be picked up by the shuttle at 5:00pm. When 5:00pm came and went, I called the Collision Center and they checked again and were told I was still on the list to be picked up. At 5:30pm I called and talked to David and he checked and they still said I was on the list. At 5:50, I called David and told him I would take a taxi and pick up the vehicle on Saturday, 7/23/2016. I took a taxi on Saturday and Eric the manager of the Collision center helped me and I got my Avalanche back. The Collision Center did a wonderful job with my vehicle. More
