Sands Chevrolet is not Midway Chevrolet We recently left the above-mentioned dealership after xxxx near 20 years of purchasing vehicles and having service completed. We picked Sands for serv We recently left the above-mentioned dealership after xxxx near 20 years of purchasing vehicles and having service completed. We picked Sands for service for 2 reasons. One, my father loved the original Mr Sands and trusted him. Second, after speaking with James Black, I walked away with an appointment scheduled to finish what the other dealership started. Mr Black spoke to me with the same respect that he treated my husband. Seriously, that's a big deal to me. I am the one who takes my 2016 Impala for service and require a person who knows what they are doing and does what they say. James Black came across as that type of person. Talked into unnecessary services I took the car there with 3000 miles for the initial oil change and tire rotation. This was confirmed as I saw two other customers after me in the waiting area get the same sales pitch. My guess is that the service reps are paid commissions for upselling additional services to customers. Shame on me for getting taken but it was 7:00AM and I had not yet had my morning coffee. More
